I would be calling Reeds Rains for the dosh. Reeds Rains are pretty prominant around here as a landlord and work provider and I’m sure they will sort it out for you.

Before you place the belt back onto the pully & motor, open the door of the washer to see if there is any up & down movement of the drum…
I should imagine this is the cause of the belt coming off and if this is the case, then you will need to have the bearings replaced in your machine.

You can issue this to the courts as a Small Claim online ‘So I am told’… This will cost you around £25..
I don’t know the process of doing this but someone on here should know.
