Ooops .. My bad … No sorry there isn’t.. I’m thinking of the CTD00 … But nevertheless, check the plastics. I just replaced the base on a CTD00 because it had cracks in the base and was leaking.

Check there is not a crack in the plastic base where the pump is housed.

Just a reminder ..
Anyone wishing to partake in this consultation regarding the financing of the EA regulations must do so by 17th of this month …
This will include the T11 licencing costs that we have been debating here.

ParticipantRe: Bosch D/W….I’m stumped on this TBH.
Had this on a dishwasher quite some time ago and I seem to remember the fault being a capacitor was leaking on the recirculation pump.. That may give you a lead to the one you are doing.

ParticipantRe: Refrigeration gear?
Now here is where I start to sound totally thick…
R600A .. I gather this is the refrigerant that is safe for anyone to do… ie. non-CFC .. Safe for the enviroment. Is this correct?
If this is correct… Can anyone point a thck od goat that wishes to learn a bit about it in the right direction .. and that doesn’t mean to a supplier website… because I wouldn’t know what I would be looking for…
Now I know a lot of you have little time to spare.. just like me… but if you could illuminate a direction, or even acknowledge the request for info and come back to it later when you’re not so busy, it would be much appreciated.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WMA
If he is talking about the heater locating lug which is part of the drum, which I think he is. If he is using the short heater surely by removing the Heater Locator from the heater everything should be ok so long as the mounting side is secured properly and there are no cracks around where the lug broke off.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Lifter versions
Mmm… Thanks for that response Jim…
I took the drum out and tried again to fit the version 3 into the drum… No way… The lugs would not go into the recesses. Offered-up the version 2 and it vertually fell in.
Just food for thought for the future. I’ll make sure I replace the lifters before putting the drum together in future.
