Not saying its a massive problem, but along with the likes of you tube and even this website we do make it easier for people to repair at home themselves.
Plus point for me is hopefully we can make it safer for them to do so

Being a one man band I’ve never really thought there is much point to a website, I certainly wouldn’t tag it on to another site if I had one. Maybe one day I will get dragged into the 21st century 🙂

Make sure you don’t keep opening the door whilst drying to check

If you use a pair of plumbers grips they may be big enough to get around the large nut or a pair of pliers inside May do it

You can normally tell from the old seal. Have yet to use the bigger of the 2 seals
It may be that if it does scrape that they supply the bigger one to fit

I agree we need things to go wrong but I’ve lost count of the number of noisy HOTPOINT/indesit queries I’ve had recently with bearing faults
All have the dreaded sealed drumRe: Indesit washer IWSB 6125 1 continuous fill !
Check position of waste hose. Make sure it’s not too low
