ParticipantChecked heater to earth etc – no obvious faults there – both earth to live and earth to neutral give open circuit values on my multimeter. If you had a megger that might have shown it up to earth. The ordinary multimeter might have or not. so could still be the heater fault which is common and failing like it could have with the symptons you describe it is not uncommon.
As far as your question goes on the thermistor( 00165281)values no idea. Just spent hours looking on the net fror you and got zilch. Not published.

ParticipantMe too Rachellnouye. And you know what this sorry tale of woe really tells me? You`ll notice no one else least the trade has commented. You would of thought even Don who regularily jumps to defend Miele (because I presume he sells them) would at least have something to say….but alas ..nothing. Maybe people in the trade just do not want to make a comment due to fear of getting legally clobbered? Who knows?
For getting justice done Katie Morley of The Daily Telegraph has great success. The story should be told.December 7, 2023 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Bosch Maxx5: Mystery of missing flap – please help! #488522andyjawa
ParticipantEither was an interverse blockage in the air trap or / and the motor brushes worn out. If consolation the brushes for this model are around 68 quid a pair according to Bosch`s spares site.

ParticipantNo idea other than if the compressor is running and there is no freezing or any sign of it cooling the refrigerant has escaped = a leak somewhere in the pipe system OR, as you sermise the compressor is running on its start windings only in which case the overload should click off within 10 secs or so. Sorry but thought it a good to contact you since no body else has. I have limited fridge experience especially on frost free stuff as I`m into washing machines..there lies another tale of woe!.

Participant“PS based on model SMS40T32UK/01 version since you didn`t supply the full model number so notice the /01 bit”.
At last! So you have model SMS40T32UK/51. The heat pump part number is 12014980 and not 00651956. So it looks as though there is a heatpump change, as I thought there could be which is why I pointed that out to you, which is, and finally, you gave us the whole model number. If you ordered 12014980 heatpump you should get the right one.
You now say you ordered 00651956 but before that you stated 120154980 was ordered……………..I give up, I really do; there is no hope for mankind.andyjawa
Participantoops! This what happens when interrupted! Forgot to mention the bottom micro mesh filter being bunged up, very common that one – item number 0611 part number 00645038 £19.62 but will probably just need cleaning – cheaper still!

ParticipantLooks like you are spot on and its obsolete. What you can do is use an adjustable COOKER shelf in their place. Depth front to back 30.5 cm and adjustable between 39cm to 55cm see universal fridge spares on this website part number UN1411 £9,95 plus p&p each. If you measure up your fidge maybe these will get you out the clag. Alternatively go to Partmaster and type 1781763pm width adjustable 35cm to 56cm, depth 32cm. Hope this helps better than no shelves!

ParticipantShame you`ve scrapped it.

ParticipantYou have checked both the wash blade jet nozzles I take it from not being bunged up ?- the most obvious check 1st. Other things to note: blockage as per above comment by electrofix but would like to add the actual heat pump motor – see bosch spares website under your model number line drawing item 0450 = part number 00651956 =£132.65 = heatpump. And more rarely item 0440 = part number 00649568 = water distrubutor complete = £54.95- the revolving disc jams or the little motor can fail (pretty rare the latter one) had one once fail in no mans land not sending water to the top blade nor the bottom blade and certainly none were going around. It will probably be what Electrofix recommends if you hear the motor on with a bit of luck. If you hear sweet F A when the motor is supposed to be working highly suspect heat pump is jammed (could be by glass so watch it) or it has just died on you – not that uncommon so not unknown.
Replacing the motor is a knack to it without dismantling the whole sad contraption`s under base which is pretty major undertaking if you`ve zero experience. Replacing the water distrubutor is very major work so pray it is neither of those things. These dishwashers are a pain in the arse to work on other than simple stuff.December 4, 2023 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Bosch Dishwasher “Check Water Error” & Washing Cold (Not Hot) #488717andyjawa
ParticipantSo you ordered your part from Ransoms Why have you ordered a part where your machine is not even listed for this motor/ heat pump in the “this part fits models” list?. The part number ransom`s are showing is 12014980 which will NOT be suitable for your machine because you`ve ordered the wrong part for a different set of machines. So to treble check, what is your full model number – your model number complete begins with Enr and is usually lazer etched top of the s/steel inner door towards the left, please check it and let us know. And be quick about it please.
andyjawa
ParticipantWhat is the actual proper model number in full please, begins with Enr:. Impossible to answer the question without the model number!
