ParticipantRe: Jackson 27903 dishwasher overfilling.
Cheers, Chris – I have had that rubber diaphragm out and blown out all the pipes with a syringe – all seem clear. 😕 I can’t find the diaphragm as a separate part, just ‘compression chamber’ – all amounting to guesswork when ordering.
It’s the frustration of looking at something and thinking…..”That can’t possibly work!”…and realising that it was probably designed to work and did so perfectly. And you were asked to repair it as it no longer does………. 👿
Landfill beckons……:haier:Steve.

Have you removed and reconnected this module to eradicate possible bad edge connections? If they are OK, then the PCB could be generating a fault code – so just for reference:-
Fault code diagnostic lights lit (left to right) L1 to L5:-L1 – time out on fill.
L2 – excess time between empty and subsequent refilling ie: blocked pressure system.
L1 and L2 together – motor inoperative or blocked (excess current drawn).
L3 – temperature sensor open or short – circuit. Sensor range between -5c and 80c. Resistance of sensor should measure between 209.2K ohms and 5.3K ohms.
L4 – time out on heating cycle.
L5 – time out on drain.
If the above all checks out OK, the PCB has snuffed it. 🙁
Hope that helps,
Steve.

ParticipantRe: Dyson washing machine spares?
Hi, Andy!! :waving:
Strangely enough, last month I needed two Dyson CR01 on / off switches for different machines inside the same fortnight. Nobody seemed to stock Dyson washer spares. One of my customers tracked down the pesky switch on Espares.
Espares stocked it at £1.99 retail. 😯 They also do a limited range of other Dyson CR01 spares.HTH,
Steve.

Wiring and switch diagrams available at http://www.diamond-h-controls.co.uk.
You should be able to work it out from there.HTH,

ParticipantRe: Bosch WVT3250GB/11 ‘E10’.
Thanks guys!!
I removed the PCB, cleaned the connections and refitted it. Seems OK now. 😉 The original fault turned out to be the motor was trying to spin with a full wash load (like the old Hotpoint 95’s used to do). Unusual fault. 😕Cheers,
Steve.

Cheers for that Grendel!!
I’ve fitted a new hose and with the base off, managed to twist it far away from the heater.
Ironically, the heater is now down to earth and it looks like I can’t salvage it…….. 😈 Absolute garbage!!Steve.

ParticipantRe: Lucrative Dishasher Money going west
Add to that the current range of Indesit and Hotpoint machines. Absolute junk – but generally, most people will go with a repair. The integrated machine has taken over as the money spinner – as Chris says – most customers will spend a disproportionate amount on fixing what is in essence a complete heap just for convenience. Surprising that people do spend so much on an appliance in this climate of the throw away culture. Great news for us.

Always found that cooking oil on a rag did the trick on sticky labels. WD40 works well too.
