Trace and test the wall socket it is connected to. Unplug the dishwasher and plug in your hairdrier. It’s the easiest and quickest way to check a functioning socket. If there is no power at the socket, look for a remote switched spur above the work surface. Try all of them, still checking with your hairdrier.
If there is power at the socket (hairdrier runs) then there is an internal fault and the machine should be checked by an engineer.
Diplomat is MFI’s pet name, so if it’s under guarantee, call them. If not, click the Repairs @ banner on this page to contact a UKW approved engineer in your area.

    Hope that helps,

It has to be that PCB – I can’t see any other possible culprit. I’m gonna go for that…..!!

    Thanks again, Chris.

Re: Noisy Bosch WFF1201 Washing Machine ??

Test the impellor lateral movement as P45 says, if there is some side to side slack felt, then a new pump will sort it out. Bosch machines are quiet runners and worth looking after. 😉

Power off before ANY inspection. :plug:

You know the story…….old couple, he was an ‘engineer’, so he hangs around ‘interested’ while you’re working, she’s in a green gingham housecoat; asks repeated bleedin’ obvious questions and generally gets on your nerves.

Fast and efficient turnaround required!!! My sanity is at stake here!!!

    Thanks again,

    Steve.

Contact spares@ukwhitgoods.co.uk . They should be able to source a fascia for you. I have found it; it’s available, but a special order part.

    HTH,

Model and serial numbers are required to order parts, (found on the white sticker inside the door or on the back panel). Then click Shop @ at the top of the page. They’ll get it for you; and it’ll be the right one. 😉
