One final point; many thanks to Steve (a.k.a. Aqualectric, a member of the forum I believe) who went well past the call of duty to deliver, install and fully demonstrate our machine on a Monday evening, and take away the old one, when he was accidentally double-booked in the day by ‘the management’ at home! A nicer guy, and a better delivery and installation, you couldn’t ask for.

Thanks very much for those kind words – I really appreciate the feedback as it demonstrates the commitment that we indies have to our customers. The ISE 10 is a fabulous machine and it will give years of good service. And if there is a problem, then we will back it up with good service too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The problems that happen with deliveries happen to all companies. We can only do so much once the machines are dispatched. The frustration felt by the customer is double for the supplier as he feels frustration and embarrassment. We can only apologise as these things have a habit of happening when you can least afford them to. ๐Ÿ™

    Re: Zanussi ZWF 1437S machine

The door switches do get warm as they have a small piezo heater inside; but if it is very hot, you would be advised to change it. Door interlocks on Zanussi machines are famous for blowing the PCBs…….. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Click the Shop @ link in the left banner and they will find you the right part.
To remove the gasket retainer, look under the door gasket and you will see a gator type clip arrangement. Use a small instrument screwdriver to gently prise them apart and it should come off easily. Replacement is a reversal of removal, but clamp the gator clip tight using pipe grips or similar. Take care not to slip!!

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

I’ve got a 95 series stacking kit……flat plate with the 2 white painted runners either side. It is lid sized with the fixing lip at the back. Would need to be screwed down at the front.
PM me if you want it.

Seeing that was back in June and you would have (I presume) not ‘complied’ until then, did he ask to see the evidence to date? Did your joining the TS scheme mean it ‘wiped the slate clean’?

Re: DeDietrich single oven cuts out.

I need to identify which probe is which. One goes into the top of the cooling fan chamber and the other goes into the back top corner of the oven itself. Help please!! ๐Ÿ˜•

    Cheers,

Also look for frayed ribbon cables down where the loom passes the motor mounts. I had one that wore through the ribbon cables and blew the PCB as well. That machine was under a year old and being used in a school therefore Gias wouldn’t honour the warranty. It was a CMD146 as well.
Absolutely abysmal machines coming from Gias ATM. ๐Ÿ™

Check selector switch connections – more often than not they are green with corrosion due to leaks from the lid.

Have you checked the bottle? :duck:
The spin balance device is a swinging weight on a rod with a microswitch at the top. First adjust the countersunk screw out so it relaxes the plastic holder and opens up the gap between switch and the actuator. Put a small load in the machine and start it up. If it leaps about, adjust the screw back in slightly until it stops only the violent shaking. Also remember that the timer is driven by the eccentric cam on the drum shaft and therefore it is important to set the macine just before the spin cycle mark and let it send itself into spin. Setting it to spin directly and switching on is a recipe for disaster as the timer will have internally moved past the drain position and may therefore leap about. Also check the motor pulley weights aren’t sticking. A little WD40 sprayed around the pulley with the belt off should stop that. (Note: Don’t start the motor without the belt fitted – it can jam the weights in the pulley).
If that adjustment is too coarse, try moving the weight up the actuator shaft and see if that sorts it.
Bit of a ‘suck it and see’ type of job I’m afraid. But possible!!

    Re: September 2009

I’ve been promised a face to face meeting with Phil Hulme of Qualtex in the next 3 days – bloody hell – he’s impossible to get hold of. (He’s just come back from a 2 week holiday – again!) He is coming to South West branch early this week so I have been promised by South West that they will call me the day before and I’ll be there!! Phil wants the meeting……so that’s good!
I think I will get the deal; South East and South West branch managers are both on board. They both agree it is good for them and they would like to support us. I’ve just got to get boss man Phil on side and we’ll have got it!!
I couldn’t get anyone from Qualtex to attend the UKW meeting; the top players are at their computer system designers headquarters on the 25th to view an upgrade to their web ordering system. Annoying thing is – their web designer is in Coventry also; but no-one can make it!! And I really tried……. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

I’ll report as I know more….the suspense is killing me……

Re: DeDietrich single oven cuts out.

Overheat stat had cut out. Reset it and the oven works fine. If it’s the probe at fault, Connect show 2 for the same machine. Does anyone have part numbers for the probe and the power PCB please?
Also does the probe control only the pyro function as there is another probe into the top cooling fan plenum as well. Very confusing……. ๐Ÿ˜•

    Help please!!

    Steve.
