Is there no one out there who knows anything about these machine’s I have quite a few on my patch and they are the worst machine I have come across for unusual faults the information for them on the sios disc is useless, they are a Smeg machine badged Whirlpool I know they suffer from broken wires usually from the motor then the program aborts but this problem has got me foxed I now have two machine with the same fault. Help

thanks for replys I didn’t mean log on I meant just getting on to site I dont log out I stay logged on but when I go to the site I have problems getting the site to load and then when I get to site it is very slow,

Hi I’m not sure if it applies to this model but I’ve found a few of these where the duct in the freezer freezes over if the fridge door is left open to check you need to lift the freezer evaporator away from the freezer back wall as the duct is hidden behind the evaporator .

This fault is usually the safety stat very easy to check take off left side panel it is located underneath the tank behind heater connections usually open circuit quite a common fault on these machines

There are two solutions to this problem you can buy a low pressure solenoid valve or you can get a booster pump these are used on commercial machines to boost hot water pressure to to the same pressure as mains water not cheap but would solve the problem you wire the pump to the water solenoid via a relay if the booster pump doesn’t have one when the solenoid switches on the pump comes on and raises the pressure of the water.
