The reading on this could be a wide range from a few kohms up to 20+ kohms

The circuit breaker at the main house board will blow long before a fuse in the plug. I suspect it is the earth leakage breaker that is going. If it works fine with the machine unplugged and blows with the machine in then I would say that’s fairly conclusive.

Just had a cooker do this under warranty. Was advised by tech to cut the bottom of the seal off and make it a goalpost seal instead of four sided. Seems to have some the trick.

The 44aw does have a dual element. I have found little difference between the genuine ones or the pattern spare .

It can be accessed through the bottom front panel. Attached to the left hand side of the sump. Remove the plug connector and release the clip on top and it just pulls out.
Power off before going in.

Gunge in the pressure switch.
Remove it, clean it out, and refit.

It’s probably too cold and the sensor reading goes out of range and the board thinks it’s open cct. This is a common problem with sensor dryers kept in cold/damp places.
Easy test is to take a hair dryer, give it a quick blast inside the drum and through the filter and see if it starts.

The button should flash red a certain number and then green for the second digit.
Is this dryer in a cold room or garage? This may prevent it working.

Hi Guys,
The problem with the packs and this years certificates are down to me.
I have both office girls off, one on maternity and 1 on sick which just leaves myself and one other engineer to do calls and admin at the moment.
If you stick with it I am working through the certs this evening and these should be emailed out before the weekend. Those waiting on packs should get theirs by the start of the week.
I can only apologise again for the delay but if you haven’t received your certificate by Monday then PM me your details and I’ll sort it for you.
