In that case there WILL be a switch on the oven frame that needs replacing.
Power off if you are going to tackle this yourself.

I cannot find a BU52 however there may be a switch on the frame where the door closes and this will need replacing.

There is a thermal cut out built into the motor. If you are not getting continuity then it will have gone o/cct. It is supposed to be self resetting but…….

Hello again,
If you are only getting this on the drying cycle then the first thing to do is insulation test the element and check that the dryer condenser is not clogged.Power off first please…

Yeh, I know but they are slower than a crippled snail at sending parts out. I was hoping someone would come up with an alternative.

I think Chris has misread the thread. You have now cleared the fault but as he says the heater will be fried. New element and you should be fine.

Sounds like you have a blockage in the pressure system causing the machine to think it is full of water.
Power off, remove lid and locate round pressure switch with thin pipe attached near front of appliance. Remove pipe and attempt to blow down pipe. There should be little or no resistance. If it is blocked you need to follow the pipe down and clear out the vessel at the bottom. If this is all clear then the problem could be the pressure switch.

ParticipantRe: Bosch 1200 S Express – Noisy drum bearing
If it is the bearing then continuing to run it can cause more damage and make the repair more expensive.
I would also say it is not really a DIY job.
First thing I would do is put some fairy liquid on the front lip of the stainless steel drum and rotate it to make sure the squeak is not coming from the drum rubbing the doorseal.

If there is anything I can do to help just ask.
Haven’t been to one before so not entirely sure what the protocol is but I will do whatever I can if it makes someones job easier.

ParticipantRe: BEKO DWD5410s
I would look at the PCB first as everyone I have had with those symptoms has been a dry joint which a bit of solder fixed.
