Has anybody else been asked to go VAT registered to carry on getting work by repaircare?

I’ve never heard such nonsense, besides registering with Customs & Excise to be VAT registered if you’re well under the threshold would be foolish in the extreme. As for the likes of Repaircare having to process your claim in a different way, that too is a nonsense. You don’t charge them for VAT so they don’t claim it back. In their claims department they just hit the ‘zero rated’ button.

If anything Repaircare would prefer most agents NOT to be VAT registered as they would shell out less of their money each month.

I’ve never read so much tosh in my life. Obviously Martin, you don’t understand VAT in the slightest.

It sounds like someone has pushed the buttons too hard and dislodged the circuit board from its clips.

Check the routeing of the pressure hose. If it is sitting low in the middle it can fill with water and this will cause an overflow.

I would check the dryer element insulation. If its low it will cause this symptom.

I would check the heater insulation as this will give a dead machine on these.

This motor has a pcb in it and you get no continuity through any connections. The symptoms you are describing are common and caused by the motor.

    Re: Zanussi selector switch

3581980095 is the part number for your PNC.

Using only the model number there are 5 different variations of this appliance and they use different selector switches.

Sounds like he has fitted the wrong switch.

Do you have the part number of the part he fitted and the PNC number of your cooker?

Wait until I get this right……

Your hob glass had previous damage and although a “tiny Knick” this will still seriously weaken the glass strength. It broke when being removed although the damage had already been pointed out to you. They have offered to repair it free of charge as a goodwill gesture…

    and your still not happy????

    I give up!!
