Nick – there is a self test mode for this appliance. If you hang on until tomorrow I will fax the procedure down to Dave Conway and get him to put it in the know fault code area. Usually though, if you get locked out it is the module and keyboard assy.

Re: Source of parts for Diplomat E1000 Electric cooker ?

Hi FJ – There are three listed energy regulators listed for this range cooker. Item 705 is listed as 081752101 & 082057300 and may be interchangeable. Item 706 is listed as 082211100. This appliance is made for MFI, if you can ident the bit you need further I or one of the other MFI network members can get it for you. Hope that helps you, if not send me a PM and I’ll see what we can cobble together. Bonz

Daf you old bugger, of course the ‘C’ stands for creative construction but of course that might be dodgy translation of the Italian. Could be crapulence (state following intemperate drinking or eating)

Of course we all have to have a drink cos when everybody’s chatting you aren,t always sure who’s question you’ve answered but you can be sure that you’ve upset someone with the wrong one!

Keith – Give us the model and serial number of the Servis washer and whats wrong with the door and no doubt one of us will be able to help you,
if not with a new part perhaps with a second-hand one. You’ll find that most of us on here want to help you out within legal liability!!

Hi – could you confirm how long you have had this appliance, and its model number. With De-detrich the fault is usually associated with a model number or frame assy. Cheers – Bonz

Sorry obviously a dodgy phone line. Fault is a duff motor triac. Looks like a new module Chris. Ive sent down the fault codes to Dave to put on the database.

    Re: GB DAR

It never fails to surprise me how sensible our grandparents were – Mine would always say ‘If you want someone to do something well for you, you must be nice to them – if you want from them, you must reciprocate’
Take that as a warning and stop taking the pee!

    Re: Recalls!

A serious issue, I always work on the principal that if the machine develops a problem that is to do with the part that we have fixed then its down to us and if in another area its down to them.
As I remember DASA always had us guarantee our work for 12 months, but perhaps theres another issue for the top table, a difficult one baring in mind many appliances don’t last 12 months.

    Re: Warranty Repairs & Warranties

Now there’s an interesting thread – taking it a step further, if we purchase a part from a supplier, which subsequently fails within the allocated period.
Should we seek another payment for labour, together with the part being replaced including the carriage. Mindfull that of course the manufacturer of the said new part should warranty it for at least as long as its failed counterpart. Afterall, it is the quality of the part that is in question, not the
quality engineer. Remember mateys, our quality is qoing up – its the product build thats going down.

Re: Beko – GB DAR – Servis

I have just been advised from a very reliable source within, that Servis are not replacing engineers on departure or retirement. Taken with the earlier threads, that might lead you to draw conclusions less than Christian. I wonder what KM’s retirement plan is like?
