Re: Bosch condenser dryer fault code WTE84107GB01

Just realised about six months ago I had exactly the same fault code come up on a similar dryer and I was unable to resolve it then!.

Thought I would throw this one in the mix, a year old Indesit condenser dryer seen last week.

To be fair this one has been used commercially in a hair dresser.

Still interesting how much fluff built up and its strange that it all built up in one corner like that . . .

Good luck finding someone willing to take on the repair when the LCD screen goes!, expect to €1979.99 for the circuit board/s and having to wait a month until they turn up!.

Well done for grinning and bearing it, I would have done the same as you and put it back together as I am fairly confident this is something I could have done.

I remember a few years ago someone called me out to a hotpoint dryer with the belt broken, they had taken the front panel off and there where wires from the door lock etc lying on the floor, I had visions of me putting it back together and getting caught out on a electrical wiring fault.

Anyway I quickly walked away from that one.

Poor old Peggy thought she would have to wait for 8 weeks before she got her Indesit dryer fixed.

ITV stepped in and gave her a gift wrapped White Knight dryer.

I feel I have to warn you before you watch this that its a proper tear jerker, have the tissues ready . . .

    Re: Qualtex game?

Yes I got one, don’t want to seem ungrateful to somewhat strangely receive a free game from a parts supplier but what about giving us something useful/ work relayed , eg a kneeling mat, a torch, tools etc?

Ha so what’s in it for you in that deal?.

I would say I am happy to go there and show him how to do it but I would want 50 pounds per fixed appliance or 25 pounds if B.E.R

yes please!, its a ridiculously hard part to get hold of.

Makes you wonder the amount of research, time and phone calls you spend finding parts like this if its worth it at all!
