    Re: qualtexs public web spares,site,

Oh dear, should not be a problem as I think this is just a sideline to selling to trade, as long as they don’t go the way of Masterpart who now have nothing in stock as its all sold to the general public.

I thought you and Andy Trigg did a good job.

Funny when interviewing the public outside Currys, some bloke wasn’t sure if its a Neff or Naff!, (about 6.00 min in).

Out of interest did you hang around to hear the waffle about clothes infused with pheromones making you more attractive to the opposite sex?, what a load of tosh.

    Re: Bosch europart suspension

I know Qualtex do a suspension leg kit for these Bosch machines.
I strongly recommend getting the genuine part, the patten part QUASLG20 has those push in plastic pegs that you find on Lux washers as a result you have to drill the hole for the peg alot larger than if you were fitting the bolt for the genuine part.
Basically a harder and messier repair than fitting gen part.

    Hi mate,
I had difficulty finding a replacement but MasterPart un51115 fits a treat.
( the terminals are forward facing but there is enough wire to reposition ).

    Hi Lulu,

The trouble is basic products at the bottom of the market are just that.

Most people will advise you to get a better quality of appliance to get more life out them, the bottom line is you have to spend a bit more.

Sorry I don’t think I can recommend any basic, bottom end of the market appliances that will give you a long, trouble free life.

Re: Zanussi FJ1093 – worth replacing bearings?

    Hi,

yes definitely worth getting this machine repaired. No question this machine will outlast any offerings from the Electrolux group at present.

With regard to cost, it depends where you live but I charge £150 parts and labour, that includes new drum spider, bearing and seals.

Bearing/ tub jobs are the most labour intensive jobs we do.

    Good luck mate

£49.50 is cheap around my way, why not just round it up to £50?

    Hi Steve,

I read threads on this forum quite a lot and I cant understand any of Lee8’s posts either.

My advice is to go into your control panel and add lee8 as a “foe”, this way when your reading a thread his post will not be visible.

Whenever I had press the button to show his post I always wish I hadn’t bothered as its complete nonsense.

    Hi Davem,

Sorry to hear your in it for £1,200 quid with them, my advice to you is start legal action immediately before they disappear. Send them a court summons tomorrow.
It does sound like it possibly could be too late already and there getting ready to bail out of another scam business.

Like you I have been telling everyone who has ears to avoid this outfit.

    Re: Masterpart Again.

    hi,
    its :
    http://www.spares4appliances.co.uk/
There ebay shop does free delivery, as others have said I have often found it cheaper than Masterpart or Qualtex etc if just ordering single items.

The strange thing is they seem to have parts in stock on this site and on ebay which are out of stock on Masterparts website.

    Re: Masterpart Again.

Still miss there old website, had loads of model number searches and a lot of it serial number specific, also they started putting exploded diagrams up there, very useful for trade customers.
New website is just loads of nice photos of common parts, more a nice looking general public website than a trade one.
