Participantdoesnt take too long, 30 min.
Split the cabinet to allow better acess.
To remove the old dispenser snip off the old clips that attatch on to the dispenser body, makes it alot easier to get off.
You will have to loosen the entire dispenser body and remove the front pannel to allow you to fit the new one on.
bit of a fiddle but really don’t remember it taking too long during my serivce force years.January 8, 2009 at 9:11 pm in reply to: bosch dishwasher sgs4468/gb27 configuration of module #273421boselecta

boselecta
Participantthanks for replying, I am sure its not the door switch, I metered it out and even bridged it out to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure, I didnt meter from the board to the pcb though. Might have to pass this one to Samsung as dont want to order pcb.

ParticipantYes I received a module for a fridge freezer, open and obviously fitted and used which I sent back about three months ago.
Have just fitted all the other parts with open packaging.boselecta
ParticipantYou need a new one, dismantled them before at service force, waste of time. the bearing will be shot, if you lube it up you will just be called back in a few weeks.
good luckboselecta
ParticipantIm betting it will be a BEKO

ParticipantI think its a good idea, the moderators should consider charging the general public for awnsers to questions.
Most people would be willing to pay a nominal charge for quality information that will ultimately be saving them money.Basically if you don’t do it someone will do it over here and probably earn a lot of money…

ParticipantNo quick fix here Im affraid. If you are sure it was smoke that came from the apppliance then it really could be from a number of places, the pcb, mains filter or the motor being the most likely candidates.
Probably requires calling out an engineer to have a further look.
If you do decide to investigate switch the power off first.boselecta
Participantthanks petalpop
I probably could try similar ones but the thought of buying a couple to try, driving to a job 15 miles away, attempting to fit an awkward part only to find the shaft is too long/ short, then have the customer moan that she wont have her appliance before xmas.
For a part job like this I would want to be more than 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confident of completing with the correct part.boselecta
Participanttoo good to be true. rang them part is now obsolete. Another Asko on the scrap heap because of unobtainable parts.
thanks anyway -
