Participantmore than likely the clip that holds the phile on to the evaporator has come away so youve no way of knowing where the phile is ending up.
BER unless you could try digging away the foam and putting the phile on manually!boselecta
ParticipantJust read this post, thought I should warn you lot about Masterpart half turn pattern elements.
Went to fit one yesterday and it tripped the customers RCD. Have 4 more on the van and they are all dead short to earth -2M ohms. Only 1 month old, so thats the reason they only cost £2.89. masterpart part no: BS14107 beware!boselecta
Participanthi simon no the motor does not start at all but the fault code indicates a fill fault not a motor fault

ParticipantWhen the elements go open circuit the dishwasher runs for hours so the next time you use the appliance after replacing the element it estimates the time based on the last programme.

ParticipantTry Bradshaw but they have low stock issues at the mo.
Easier to just use manufactureres Maytag Uk 0844 4990101boselecta
ParticipantHi Ken any chance of getting a few of the door interlocks to keep as stock so we can complete these jobs first time.

ParticipantYes sounds like the board. There is no special re-set procedure, exept holding the start button in. I replaced one of these L shaped boards when fault was unable to reset the programme or cancel once started. Got one from EMW and that fixed it, that was about six months ago.

Participantwarming a little bit could indicate an element problem, but it could be the stat or the TOC if the neon does not come on.
This sounds a tricky fault so I would suggest calling an engineer out.I agree with you £75 callout and £15 per 15 minutes is alot.
Most people won’t charge per hour but per job, alot fairer in my opinion.boselecta
ParticipantSo if its given you ten years good service obviously your going to reward the machine by getting it repaired rather than buy a cheap substandard version of this machine or one of the latest offerings from the Electrolux group plc.

ParticipantHi Gertrude
Hope you manage to make sense of the correct position of the selector switch/ stat.
You can probably buy the manual as a spare part from servevast.
In the engineers defence, why would he use a test meter to test if the fault is a noisy fan?.November 21, 2008 at 8:53 pm in reply to: BELLING BE811 F/F – Back wall of fridge halfway up very warm #268914boselecta
ParticipantHavn’t seen this model but obviously you havn’t got the heater switched on in the appliance. The button next to the stat.
Try defrosting the appliance for +48hrs in case of overticing if that fails its engineer time.boselecta
Participantthat is the conclusion I am coming to with these boards, getting alot of recalls or the same faults reoccuring that I have started telling customers to contact the manufacturer.

Participantme too, working for comet I fitted hundreds, like all these jobs the first time you end up stripping the entire thing until you find the best way.
