You have to lie the appliance on its front remove the rear heater cover, remove rear fan, remove bottom base pannel, remove the rear plastic motor casing, remove the motor and replace fan. There is no easy way into this model.

    worth mentioning:
~ rear fan often cannot be removed as gets rusted in and has to be broken off and replaced.
~ later cl767 style models dont have a base panel and you have to remove the entire back plate.

    hope that helps

    Hi Gegsy
the appliance is being opperated in the center of the room and all the filters are clear. I have cleared the appliance filters and reservoir. Also this appliance is only about 2 years old all singing and dancing with lcd display.

If it is just a cosmetic part like that the best thing to do is purchase it yourself via Bosch spare parts.
I do not know of anyone re-cycling second hand parts and the chance of you picking up a identical one from the scrap dealers are quite slim.

Sounds like the plastic handle has snapped inside the interlock. Most independent engineers will either carry one on board or be able to supply one cheaper than calling the manufacturers (Service Force).

    hi daweorama
“error 4” says its a fault with the pressure switch/ inlet valve or pcb.

Basically I think the sump is blocked and the pressure switch is not activating because of this causing the appliance to overfill.

(“error 3” is a draining fault so i dont think its a blocked pump).
If you are going to investigate yourself, switch the power off first, good luck.

check ribbed hose from sump and pressure system for blockages first may need a new pressure metering bottle

Ordered a board from EMW in error. To send it back is now 10.85, was £5 odd a few months ago. Seems a bit steep to me considering the margins were working from.

(Thanks EMW, sorted now they had me down as a non trade cust thats why was £10.85)

ahh Removed and cleared contacts on the flow meter, messed around with it etc. The wheel does spin. Still does the same fills then no motor action and six flashes.
Do you lot think it is either a faulty flow meter on requires a new tank?

Would like to be proved wrong but i don’t think it is possible to replace a welded with splitable tub, wont the sump hose be a different size and in a different place, same with the fill hose. What about the pulley wheel is that the same?. Im sure someones done it but it must have involved alot of altering original parts.
