Masterpart list 152 items for this model , if that is any help.

Closest I can find is HI160 but it is an extractor hood by the look of the parts list. If your customers are anything like mine they could easily be reading the wrong instruction book 🙄 .

Don , if you go to Mediator on Connect website you will get an exploded parts diagram. It would appear there are 2 elements for the oven and a griill element. Parts listed as 63 , 64 and 68 , actual part nos. seem to have changed but have a look and I`m sure you`ll figure it out 😕 .
Cheers

I originally quoted the customer for new end cap and that`s exactly what they now have. I now have a spare 096331 and I can solder the brushes back in without any problem.
Extra work yes but at the end of the day I feel happy with it.
Now , what about that tacho 🙂

Just to finish off this saga , went back today with new end cap 096805 and all working fine and motor back to original spec.
Pardon my ignorance can anyone explain how that tacho works , there is a magnet but no coil. That 3 legged device in the end cap is obviously pretty clever.

Seems a bit strange asking you to double check that model no. but I can`t get that particular model. Both SEME and http://www.chsinteractive.co.uk/ are good suppliers for Sanyo microwave spares. The turntable motor and shaft (or do you mean the roller ring )are listed as stock spares for similar model nos.
Hope that helps but no mention of dogs 😆

Yes Dave I was a bit worried you got that information from Masterpert website as some of their equivalents are slightly misleading IMO.
No big deal , managed to snip and solder the brushes from 096331 into the original end cap but a damned expensive way to do it 🙄Cheers anyway and hope this helps for future reference.

Yes Martin , it looks very much like the top one 088421 but I make the part no. for this machine 096805. Do we agree these are different parts and not interchangeable with 096331 as was suggested above.

Sorry to bring this up again but I`m in the process of replacing the end cap on this motor and whilst new one will fit (096331) I`m very concerned that the tacho is a different set up.
On the original end cap the tacho is a 3 terminal device connected at 6 , 7 and 8 on the terminal block but with no resistance readings 😕 and as you know 096331 has 14 odd ohms between terminals 6 and 7.Any further thoughts appreciated but I think I`ll be getting my soldering iron out swapping brushes and toc.

Inspection of module would be the obvious next step. Look out for dry joints and cracked/blown solder connection at relay contacts on PCB 😉

Unfortunately Phil , looks like you need to replace complete facia panel on this model , 355740 changed to 355189.
On the bright side have a read of this http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ight=bosch
