Thanks Sparkey , that`s the one and customer has agreed to pay £25 extra for gen. part 😀 . I can get it slightly cheaper from Connect although it`s a special order.

June 1985 . According to customer that`s when they had their “new” kitchen installed. 🙂

Re: Hotpoint Ultima Close Door Error

You don`t really need to test it , just replace it. You can order it here if you go to Shop@ on the left of this page , then washing machine spares , then door interlocks , the one you want is 1602390.
Sorry but the link direct to this part doesn`t appear to be working (for me anyway 🙂 )

    Power off of course :zap:

For anyone`s future reference it was the inner plastic linkage piece which had broke 154956. The 1mm plastic clips which catch the knob were broken , even more fragile than the washing machine version which I also find break fairly frequently.

We are in the city centre and within 2 miles of main exchange , not sure if we have a local exchange even closer.
Don`t know how to check normal signal to noise ratio. 😕 We do have BT1571 on the same line and I know there are some issues with this service and broadband.

TECHBOIS or Trent80 how do you get parts listed for Stoves/Belling on the Masterpart site ❓ When I tried search by model and 058552066 , no parts found 😕

I think Dave Conway asked this question previosly and there was no response.

Also Sparkyp , I make it Part No. 0592042384 for the main fan motor assembly.

I`ve just hauled the packaging out of the bucket and I`m away to staple it to the receipt…..just in case . 😀
Made in China….lifetime guarantee , seems like a contradiction in terms.
Chris , maybe at £5:99 you`re getting the cheapo version. 😆

But seriously folks…. 10mm ratchet spanner, £5.99 in Halfords. Alledgedly “professional” quality – I’m on my 3rd one in 2 years 🙄 .

I have a WFL2450 carbon brushes job to do tomorrow morning and as I was driving past my local Halfords today I thought I would follow Penguin`s advice and buy a 10mm ratchet spanner.
Hope it makes the job easier Chris because it was bloody £9:49 😯 , no wonder it was in a locked cabinet. I`ll be doing my best not to break it but it beats drilling holes in the back of the cabinet anyway. 😆

Dave , did you ever get an answer on this one ❓
I`ve had to phone Stoves/Belling twice this week to get part numbers.
No big deal but it would be most useful if Masterpart site recognised these models and had the parts in stock. 😉

Connect still have them listed as seperate parts but I noticed Masterpart had them listed as the same (but no stock). 🙁

Thanks for the confirmation Dave and I`ll order the cheaper one from Connect. 😀
