ParticipantRe: Hotpoint df23 heater ceramic and grommet
years back I had a very old hotpoint which had a punctured liner and was leaking the customer was then a mechanical engineer of sorts and reappeared with a selection of stainless steel rivets and pop rivet tool.
It lasted years after that without leaking. Finally the motor failed and too expensive.

biggest range Ive ever found is machinemart.
Having said that Homebase had an ideal sized small aluminium one in the other week very light and compact.
Try machinemart on line.burns
ParticipantRe: sios disk
In all honesty probably not as good as TDS but it offers parts breakdowns and wiring etc for most of the range new and old.

Had the very same on a Bosch built in. I found the diaphram on the pressure sensor (right hand side) had water in it from being moved previously. Carefully took it apart as much as possibe cleaned it and bingo. The diaphram was not working the arm / microswitches.

ParticipantRe: Accounting Question
Hi
if I was in your situation I would continue to record your inputs and outputs for your current business and keep a record of all other earnings. Its unlikely you will occur any expenses (costs) with the second income.
At the end of the year let your accountant have all details of both income sources to work out your tax liability.Try not to incur costs for the second job which are been met by the original business, its easier not too.
I wouldnt see the need for cross invoicing etc, but do keep good records and be prepared for the tax liability at the end of the year.
You can have as many income sources as you wish, just be able to show them clearly to your accountant and then its over to him or her.burns

Hi Kez,
What did you code the board?
Iam aware in a very few instances where coding the board which is a jazz15 version 05 has caused this problem. Try coding as 01 failing that you may need a version jazz 14 at least.
I amonly aware of two issues but its a possibility. Definatley try 01 in the first instance if its coded 05 otherwise let me have the serial number.

ParticipantRe: Quality Tamperproof Torx/Security Torx bit sets
Try and find the torx bits specified for use with impact drivers. Much better and designed to take a bit more stick.

ParticipantRe: Bosch turning to gold?
Going off subject slightly, Is that correct? I was always under the impression rightly or wrongly that the rinse aid was added during a rinse.
Namely the rinse water would carry it to the items prior to being dried and by nature of rinse aid it is designed to breakdown the surface tension of the water.
If its added during a heat I cannot see how it would work. Hot water or heating doesnt benefit that process or improve it at all. IMOAdding it during a rinse I understand, then heating. In theory the water has been dispersed from the pots which has now been broken down to aid dispersion and drying? Now youve got me thinking.. 💡
I have in the past added a capfull into a bucket of cold water when washing the car, throw over the car it helps the drying off process brilliantly. too much though and youve got a greasy car….
