Couldnt make this my no1priority, especially looking at the profile of the business.
Threw his dummy out. No rates qouted, no arrangenents for parts mark up or limits. Just a call from site if you need a part.

ParticipantRe: admiral AAV 2200AGW motor loose
Cant imagine doing this without. With its very easy all springs removed from the front even the rear ones. pop the tool in compress and springs off, likewise refitting dead easy. It makes a quick job. But thats the same for any special tool. Struggled with an LG clamp band recently. Then you find theres a tool to facilitate. Shame its about £3000. (Not really but its stupid money).
(Eldar59, I’ve a full set of Maytag laundry tools which I use every now and then if need anytime?).burns

You will need the spring removal tool, but advised theyre no longer available from Maytag. It extends the springs to remove and refit the spings. Easy with the tool not so sure without?

The signs of burning (browning) on the ice enclosure is not unusual, they do go discoloured as the motor tends to generate a bit of heat when churning up the ice. I would start by checking out the solenoid for the ice crusher. But also the solenoid in the dispenser. This can take out the board.
Just a little pointer, when you are checking the auger motor / ice bin, ensure you make the door switch. Its easy to forget the door needs to be closed. If you havent figured that?

ParticipantRe: ISDAL In Administration?
My letter came Saturday for the grand total of £33.50. This relates to two invoices back in the begining of the year. Both were paid by credit card. I’ve already sent proof of this in the form of credit card statement and covering letter. So its not just a case of demanding money oustanding against your contra’s. They are also demanding whats been paid fare and square. If I owed it I would happily pay up. But I certainly dont think I will be paying again. Won’t bother chasing, I’ve emailed twice already now and had no response. So wait for the summons. Wonder if it will arrive at the same time as the one from the International Directory Valencia? Thats doing the rounds again.
If you get a court date let me know, might see you there.burns
ParticipantRe: Whats the best folding truck trolley
One of the best ranges of trucks is Machinemart. folding, aluminium, solid tyres, pnematic, three wheeks. Whatever takes your fancy. Personally I use the blue folding types solid wheels as they fold down really small and they are small enough to live on the vans. These are for occasional use. Before that we had heavy duty folding with soft tyres. All good value.

Hi Chris,
I can recommend a firm in Stoke called Vehicle Fixings. The guy there is called Scott he can be contacted on 01782 373491. he does supply and install makes such as BOTT he was also doing a range of his own. Anything you want he will come up with. I used him last year for a number of vans and found him easy to work with.

ParticipantRe: Independent Service In Administration?
As previous posts, I received a statement earlier in the week for two invoices for odd parts we purchased last December and February. The demand was for £33.50. This was paid in february. I rang it through and emailed a copy of my creditcard payment and assured that would clear it up. Obviously there accounts are trawling any old transactions. Shame they arent trawling remittances as well. I am sure I could have put that time to better use?
