ParticipantRe: Neff D/W not spraying bottom but does top???
sounds like a diverter problem, if its like the bosch type, its on the heater box. assembly comes complete.
we have seen a few of these.bzz67

not sure where all you guys live, but if you live in the south or southwest, speak to Dean at coopers wholesale who will collect and deal with all appliances correctly. they are based in Dorchester 01305 260905. i have spoke to him and he said he is looking for more customers to build up more collections, that way he can return more frequent.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool top loader
had one once that got me for a while, the drum was dropping down and touching ther outer tub. the cylinder clamp between drum and shaft had worn the top lip clean off, because i had never seen this before i could’nt see the fault.
hope this helps!bzz67

i think you will find that to be all above board, if you sell appliances you are a producer of weee and are not allowed to scrap the old one. we store the old machines until we have a few and then a firm called coopers wholesale call around with a lorry and take the lot for correct recycling free of charge, apart from refrigeration. they give you a receipt showing what was taken so you have proof that you are doing things correctly.
i still save electric motors and take to the scrap yard, about £120 a ton,
the weight soon mounts up.bzz67
ParticipantRe: Qualtex on line ordering?
hi 21 rich, click on log in link on left of home page and download the bit of software, go through set up which will leave an icon on your desktop, click on that and will take you to login screen. it will only work on one pc only. rep should be able to set up on multiple pc’s later. rep also told me its not quite so simple on vista.

ParticipantRe: Indesit WIL163UK Strange fault???
sounds like a module fault, i would get one in from EMW. if it was not the pcb you can return it , and it wiil only cost you £5 + vat. have a word with Tony at EMW, he’s pretty good with these faults.

ParticipantRe: miele dishwasher
thanks eastlmark, got into work early to get this thing sorted, you are correct, clear poly bag nicely tucked into the impellor. could not spot it when i took hoses off. working fine now, no idea how such a large object got though into there.
thanks again, glad i didnt order in any expensive miele parts.

not sure which switch your refering to, but a zip tie can sometimes replace a hose clip with good results.

ParticipantRe: Lec D110 dehumidifier fault
yes we’ve advanced the timer round but still no different. in defrost it will be sending hot gas, but it is freezing as it should, just no fan.
