    when I did the LG washer course we where advised to use a card to insert into the plynth to bend back a tab to release the plynth! sorry big screwdriver every time.

    another problem I have seen is the customer not setting the program dial correctly but this was on a brand new appliance.

    FLASHING FIVE TIMES INDICATES E50 FAULT (MOTOR RELATED) GOING INTO DIAGNOSTICS WILL GIVE YOU THE EXACT CODE AND COMPONENT FAILED.

    Hi one of my collegues had this fault today, e54 was stored in the fault code file, when he disconnected the motor it conntinued to drain ok, suspected motor!

    have a look at dishwasher forum common probs.
    looks like on tds this has two pumps, if it had one pump would have suggested impellors stripped.

    125 11 85-30 / 0 have replaced loads of these for no start, but if the customer has tried to start machine with door open, last code stored e41, nowt to do with fault, yep very common carry as van stock!

    if you have the tds disc or get into tds online item no.990 on electrical page is the config code, try part no. 132 03 84-70 / 2 this is listed for wjs12xx might work on other models.

    hi have loads of problems with these. you have tried to go into diagnostic, if you cant get in it is probably knackered, most common fault is short circuit drain pump blowing board, but have had door lock s/c and motors/c both taking out the board, there is no protection for board.

    hi e90 is a comunication problem between the boards, try removing the cables and refitting them, if still a problem change board in facia.

    nice photo, its a long time since I did any electronics but I believe 5k6 is another way of writing 5.6k! as in kilowatt.

    hi the most probable reason that the replacement board has blown is because you havent rectified the fault. Havent had motor brushes blow boards. The most common reason is a short on drain pump. The tape over the terminals is just to ensure its new, I believe the orientation of the plug socket has changed but that is all. A short circuit door lock is also a possibility.

    hi it could be a faulty pump, but could also be other things, best advice would be to get an enginner to look at it, click on the red toolbox to find your nearest repairer.
