The amp tag’s. However if you have used a proper crimper for the amp tag’s and not pliers you might get away with it to be fair.

I’m considering getting an electric range with a double oven vs. a single electric oven?
I live alone and don’t do a lot of complicated cooking. I thought it might be a good idea to get the double oven because much of what I would do could be done in the smaller portion of the oven.
Any opinion on this would be appreciated.

Single ovens (pyrolytic excluded) plug into a normal 13 amp socket however a double oven must only be fitted on the 30amp cooker circuit so check where your siting it otherwise you have the exspence of an electrician to consider if you go for a double oven .

Given the fault my guess is your machine is three years old as thats about the time they fitted a cheap door switch to cut costs but give’s the fault you decribe ( most of the one’s ive seen have a serial number begining 9 or 8 . If so and you have then even if its now working again replace the door switch!

Most likely the door switch is at fault

E50 relates to a motor fault so first thing to check is the motor brushe’s arnt worn first.

Rmove the tank and tilt it backwards you will then see it and possibly a spring and the inner part of the valve will be sitting on the floor.

If your sure that the cooling fan is operating which it should after a couple of minutes on this one then I would suspect a dodgy contact in the selector switch as i’ve seen these fail before on this model.

    Re: lamona american fridge frzr

I’ve a feeling Beko had there hand in this make and fan failure is common on their american style fridge/freezers so as bryan suggested you need to check the fan . The symtom you get is freezing in the bottom of the fridge and the top the freezer is too warm.

Re: Zanussi FJDR bearing change – removing pulley

Its important that there is no score marks or scratches on the brass coller else this will cause water ingress into the new bearings

Re: Zanussi FJDR bearing change – removing pulley

Thats not a bearing but the brass coller of the shaft which dosen’t look in great condition . You might get away with it but I’d be thinking of replacing the crosspiece .

Getting shut of comets engineers (the jack of all make’s but master of none) was too little too late . Must be terrible for the store staff though on the run up to christmas

    oh very good

amazing how a lot of us ‘kids scratching our heads’ were headhunted by manufacturers?

you wont make friends with sweeping statements like that

Im glad you have found alternative employment and i’m sure some comet engineers had an ounce of salt about them but surely you must now see a big difference for the better to your working day ?
