ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS 09L12GB/14 possible drainage problem
Check the drain pump first-you will need to sponge out the water, remove the filters from the top of the sump and then gain access to the left side of the sump with a torx screwdriver as shown in the manual.
Check the vanes of the pump which you will just see at the bottom leftand make sure there are no bits of glass etc stopping them turning around.
you should be able to flick the impellor(pump end) around with your finger.
If this is jammed or failed then the machine wont drain. The other symptoms you are describing sounds like the machine is sludged up which will require a minor strip down and cleaning of the circulation pipes and pressure chamber.
This is well covered in the thread below.

As always be safe and power down before going in!

Have a hunt in this forum for Bosch dishwasher issues
For examplehttp://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=44514
Gives some idea what access you will need.
If you are lucky you will be able to check the matrix and hoses for obvious leaks -if it is elsewhere then then base has to come away….not that easy imhoCJAPeterborough

You can get some diagrams and parts info from the Bosch site
Put your model number in hereCJAPeterborough
ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS43A32UK/01 won’t drain – Help Please
If you check the resistance across the two motor terminals a duff pump usually gives infinity-this should help confirm replacement.
A good pump from memory is a few hundred ohmsCJAPeterborough
ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS43A32UK/01 won’t drain – Help Please
Probably a blockage in the pipes somewhere either side of the sump to matrix plumbing-see the threads below re stripping down and cleaning etc- plenty of info via the search.
Thoroughly clean the front circulation pipe as described
Pull out the small black non return valve to the side of the drain pump in the sump(after removing pump cover with torx)
Disconnect the sump drain at the matrix side (2nd feedpipe from left and next to blue cold feed inlet) and blow through-this usually clears it.With reference to these excellent threads

ParticipantRe: Gorenje, Bosch or Siemens? Help!
If you look for the Seimens on Ebay you should find a local dealer in Burnley
offering the model for your target price with free delivery and the 5 year warranty.
If you buy through one of the cash back sites (eg quidco) then you will also reduce the total cost a few pounds more…..Note -I have no association with either of the above but just thought this may help you purchase what is almost certainly the best machine imho

just a thought but does this model have a “rinse plus” button if so has this been set by mistake?

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFF 200L
A long wait since Nov last year….not much info to go on.
What else does the machine do? ….does it spin or drain…does it only happen
into the wash cycle etc
Have you perhaps tried a cold wash only to eliminate the heater?
The machine is over 20 years old so it may be time to move on…CJAPeterborough
ParticipantRe: Bosch WAE24364GB
Bosch support site indicates a split drum
My rule of thumb is the door handle -small square handle not German built
larger curved handle German built. As for the rear well I have seen both rear plates tear drop and square on German built machines.
To be sure the machine should have the plate below…if made other than Germany it will state EU I believe.Hope this helps

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFO2464GB – Will not spin
From what you say the brushes are not making good contact.
In my experience
1.Use wet and dry on each brush so that they slide in the holder very easily
2.Try and match the angle of the replacement with the old-I find pairing them together and then using wet n dry works for me
3.Make sure the longest edge of the brush is on the connector side.
Finally check resistance through the pair of brushes with a meter-anything above 2ohms for solid carbons and about 4ohms for laminates tells me there is good contact.
You can also check the variation across the brushes by watching the readout when turning the motor by hand
Probably more than 0.5ohm variation and the brushes arent making good contact and need re working on the contact angle.Hope this helps!

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFO2464GB – Will not spin
I think you are having problems with the two rear supporting posts
which are sleeved with a black rubber bush(ie both sides)
You need to take a suitable flat blade screwdriver and gently prize between
the drum and the metal and you will find the motor drops away.Be careful as you can easily drop the motor as it can come away suddenly
and trap a finger etc.Check a few of the other Bosch posts -buy some reasonable quality laminated brushes and a bit or wet and dry
and you should be up and running again soon!
Let us know how you get on…………you can see the bushes in the image at 303 below

Sounds like you need new motor brushes-use the search facility and look at the forum FAQs.
There is also a nice video which takes you through the procedure.Re age of machine the FD number will tell you the manufacturing date(rear label or inside door rim) 8410 decodes to Oct 2004 for example 8803 would be March 2008 etc

ParticipantRe: Bosch 1400 Exxcel Washer (WFO2865GB01) spin problem
Pretty sure orientation 1 is correct based on my own observations replacing brushes on a 1400 spin motor today.
When fitting brushes I try and match the angle to the worn brushes using a suitable file or wet n dry etc.
Also you need to make sure they slide easily up and own in the holders most need soem work with the wet n dry for my own liking.
I have also noticed a difference in quality re the aftermarket replacement
The cheap end for say £3 on Ebay tend to be harder to fit easily and also imho tend to be noisy.
I use the laminated brushes especially for the higher spin motors as in your case.Typically I can get 4-5ohms across the laminated and 2-2.5 on the cheaper solid carbons when
confident of good contact and fitted well.Hope this helps

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFL2260 Not Turning problem
you will get what you pay for up to a point.
I have found the best compromise to buy the laminated after market brushes…you can also source these on places such as Ebay
These are certainly quieter slightly longer and easier to fit in my experiences compared to the real budget end solid carbon typeCJAPeterborough
ParticipantRe: Bosch WFB2004GB/16 bang on start of spin
As a suggestion check the top concrete balance weight….
if this has moved or is loose banging/knocking can result which is made worse with bigger wash loads. -
