Sounds like normal operation…the rinse only option(Bosch also call a refresh) puts a lot more water in and is usually a third up the glass.
The machines can appear to use very little water on normal cycles -what are the wash results like?
The machines usually have a rinse plus or wash plus button option which can also improve wash peformance with any of the programs.

ParticipantRe: 10-y-o Bosch SRS5602GB-02 goes bang and dies
The part number you require is 498262 I believe.
It can likley be purchased via the whitegoods shop -google/ebay etc
But it shouldnt cost very much and is a relatively easy swap.
If it isnt the regulator then your main control board will need looking at.
Generally not a cost effective to repair if board has gone considering the age.

remove pipe-pull out from pressure chamber and sump
easier if you tilt machine backwards against a wall then remove the metal
plate-the wiring guard is clipped along the edge and will stop it coming away completley-you need to ease the plastic away from the metal.you need to remove the matrix-you should see the two retaining bars and the plastic corners which need to come away.
Matrix can then be lifted away completely if you want to remove the
pipes on the left or just left to the side.
Pressure chamber can be then pulled away from the plastic supports in the base(ease lugs with screwdriver).
you then dissassemble

Well the pictures show that the pressure chamber and lower
pipe(RHS) are pretty gunged up and could do with a clean.See
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=44514
The matrix itself looks OK and doesnt show any leaks at the seals.
You may have an overfill problem due to flow restriction through
the pressure chamber or a leak on the lower pipe as it goes into the sump.
Have you checked out the other side of the machine?A common place to leak is the main motor seal into the sump, you will see the water drips forming a pool below the main motor.
Observe from a safe distance.

Your machine probably needs new motor brushes

I think you might be lucky with http://www.qer.biz
Certainly worth talking to them. You should certainly remove and check the board to see if there is any scorch marks/blown tracks/obvious damage.
If it looks undamaged there is a reasonable chance that the failure was due to the board itself.
There is the risk however that even if you get a refurbed board it will pop
again if there is another faulty component elsewhere (ie motor/door lock etc)A good machine and if all the rest is sound then prob worth fixing if you can do it for a realistic cost.

ParticipantRe: AEG Lavamat L14710VIT : Repair or replace?
You could purchase the part and fit it yourself?
-not too difficult a job imho
AEG/electrolux/zanussi is of a good quality and you will need to spend
£400 plus for something decent which again may need brushes or a pump within 4 years….
pretty expensive at £100 a year if you keep replacing the machine on this basisPerhaps get a competitive quote from one of the engineers on this forum
(find an engineer link)? If this is all that has gone wrong in the time you have had the machine then with some tlc it should last for some considerable time yet.

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS5362GB/01 Dishwasher
You need to check the resistance of the heating element
Take a look here……..
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=54604
if you search the dishwasher forum for Bosch heating then you will get a lot of hits………
If you decide to investigate yourself please make sure the plug is removed from the socket.

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS5362GB/01 Dishwasher
Plenty of info on this one via the search facility.
You need to check if your heating element has failed
If not likely a control board issue.CJAPeterborough
ParticipantRe: Bosch SG569L12GB problem
Material can be pulled away (sound proofing) sometimes sticks to the
black pitch that coats the tub.It slots into the plastic base along the front-just gently prise it away.Water will generally build up on the matrix side or the main circulation pump
side opposite. If you run a cycle with the sides off and observe from a safe distance the drips will usually reveal themselves….
Good luck!

ParticipantRe: Bosch SG569L12GB problem
Few questions:
1) what could have caused the basin to flood, could it be too much detergent causing excess soap suds?
Maybe or overfill or internal leak
2) where is the kick panel/plate?Bottom of the door
3) is it particulary hard to remove the side panels etc?Not really-top comes off first then there are a two screws on each side panel
4) are boch dishwashers generally reliable? Mine has made in Germany on it and not one of Spanish made ones
Yes

ParticipantRe: Bosch SG569L12GB problem
You should find the source of the leak sometime soon -there are plenty of good posts on this forum with the necessary info to do so.
Unplug-remove lid, side panels and front kick plate-check for water in the base around the drain pump
(you will see the float switch near the lhs door hinge) and the main circulation pump(rhs)
you can tip the machine forward to empty the water. After this to pin the leak down you will have to power the machine up and observe from a safe distance.
If you are not comfortable tackling this then you should perhaps call an engineer…..electricity can kill…..

ParticipantRe: analogic pressure switch frequency
I think most of us would fit a new Askoll pump for about a tenner.
You also have the possibility that the existing pump will drift further or fail completely of course……..Fully applaud the elegant fix though!

ParticipantRe: analogic pressure switch frequency
congrats on an clever fix…how did you adjust the pressure switch and measure the frequency change?

ParticipantRe: Siemens Hydro sensor, usual problem, no idea what to do
Have you looked at the control board again?
I have just been battling with the same 199min and no heat-checked the
element resistance, ntc switch ok and heater switch ok.
Works fine -but no heat…..and 199minDecided to look at the pcb board and two resistors and a relay joint blown
Not good news and I have decided to scrap the machine.
I hope your board hasnt popped again….
I dont know for sure but I also found a distinctly wobbly on/off switch with
part of the plastic mounting broken and wonder if this has anything to do with
popping the board as all the main components below the tub seem to absolutely fine when checked individually.Hope this helps
