    Re: ISE 5 Mk 2

Well we have one of these but the customer is adamant that it will not go into 1600 spin even on a cotton wash although it does the slow speed spin ok.

Anyone else had this issue? (I’m thinking it can only be a pcb/software fault?)

I have this on my android phone now but each page of the pdf has a dark bar across the middle obscuring some of the wording!

Has anyone else had this problem and more importantly did they find a solution?

It sounds like the wash pump may need replacing..

Then you need to get the lhs panel off to reveal the float, if that’s functioning ok then you should check for blockages in the three hoses that run parallel connecting the chamber to the sump…it does actually sound like it’s overfilling which is quite rare on these!

    Re: Hygena apl8212 leaking

If the machine continually fills to the point of overflowing before the wash pump has even cut in then the float in the LHS chamber is stuck, there is no flow meter on this one.

When you take the lower spray arm out for another check gently flex it in different directions and look to see if the seam is parting at any point. If it is the water squirts under pressure from the split straight under the door and runs over onto the floor. Of course if enough water is pushed out then the machine will refill to top up.

It is possible to attack the arm with a soldering iron to re-weld it 😉

IIRC these are a Brandt made machine?…in which case you need to check the lower spray arm hasn’t cracked along it’s seam 😉

My thoughts are with him too…went i went self-employed for the first time it was quite an eye opener i have to say. Like many i started by moonlighting while working for a national, it actually was quite good fun to start with and the extra money earned was gratefully received but as the number of my own jobs began to increase so did the stress. In the end i had to make a decision, employed or self-employed…..

I chose the latter and i have to say with hindsight it was the better decision, yes it has it’s ups and downs but you have to get your head around that, and that itself is quite a learning curve.

I suppose you don’t know how it’ll work out for you until you try?

Re: whirlpool adp4501/05 green light continually flashing

When you say the flash is constant are you sure there are no pauses in the rythm of flashes…the number of flashes before each pause is a fault code. If there’s no pause then that means one flash repeated….

Sorry no…there are variants and wiring diagrams are not available unless you are a Bosch engineer….draw your own conclusions about protectionism there but that’s a whole other thread 👿

Dry joints are usually obvious by the burning around them, and a blown triac will be visible too….

Re: Bosch SGS5332GB/17 No Light when switched on – appears d

Sadly no wiring diagrams but if you carefully inspect the triacs then a blown one will have a small lump missing out of the middle of it. If you find one like that it’s a case of following its mounting tracks to an edge connector then identifying where the wire goes 😉

Sometimes boards do just fail but IME it’s rare on these so do check for earth leakage too…
