Sounds very much like a drain pump problem…would be worth an engineer visit with that machine, they are pretty decent and if a new pump sorts it then it may well work for a few years more.
Just one thing…make sure you put the flap back in to try it (one-way valve) or they seem to air-lock when trying to drain 😉
If you need an engineer then try the link below?

Yes there is a one-way valve in there. Firstly bail out the water by hand, remove the pump cover inside (details in the handbook) and check for blockages/foreign objects such as pieces of broken glass or crockery chips etc.
Then strip and clean the pressure chamber until they look like THIS
Reassemble and test.

More likely the pressure chamber and it’s outlet hose are gunged up. LHS panel off and clean the pipework 😉
Incidentally, these little pumps often do clatter when they get a bit worn but still manage to do the job.

Yes they do…a very sharp cold chisel makes the job a little easier (carefully knock the tangs off) and fit a new tub rear half, just make sure the tub half seal is seated correctly when you reassemble 😉

Has it had a leak of any sort and jammed the float switch up or created an earth fault?

…and i forgot to add, cracking pictures…if only every poster could provide images of that quality we could solve a lot of problems more easily!

After removing the two filters I found the blue restrictor? to be sitting squint and jamned in this position.…and there is the problem! The restrictor should sit square in there with the washer facing back out towards the fill hose end…it doesn’t have a seat as such, it basically ‘floats’ on the plastic body of the restrictor, the idea being that the faster the flow rate the more it is pushed back against the holes in the restrictor body thereby slowing the flow going through it 😉
If you can pull it out then carefully push it home square i suspect the problem will go away 😆

Classic signs of impellor seal leak…it will eventually lead to wash pump seizure. In the meantime it could give rise to earth faults from the moisture or if the leak is big enough it would set off any flood protector (if fitted!).
Earth faults can play havoc with the electronics of course 😉…and as Steve says the only cure is a new wash pump

I might be able to shed some more light now having been to a similar model today…this one didn’t have a baffle in the float chamber either which only leaves two possibilities.
Control of the flow rate is via two devices only, the first being a flow restrictor within the inlet valve. This can be accessed by undoing the supply hose then withdrawing the filter…inside you will see another plastic insert (in this case today it was red in colour) with a small rubber washer seated on it. The second is the inverted ‘U’ shaped tubing inside the water matrix (plastic moulding on the side) which has a small aperture inside through which the water has to force.
So…either the aperture within the matrix has enlarged (nigh-on impossible) or the flow restictor within the valve is faulty/missing.

There isn’t one unfortunately….it’s a complete float chamber looking at the exploded view 😕

The only way to find a fault like this i suspect is to hook up a meter and do a ‘wiggle’ test…both fiddly and time consuming i’m afraid 😕
The good news is the fault is highly likely to be a small one so it’s worth persevering.
If you can’t manage to use a meter then maybe click the link below to find a local engineer?

If the original was humming then the pump supply should be ok…which leaves either a wire not connected properly somewhere or you may even have a faulty new pump…have you tried metering it?

ParticipantRe: Smeg DWI612C Integrated problem
In fairness to the engineer it’s FAR more likely to be the pump rather than the start cap but the price difference between the parts is big enough to be worth investigation 😉

Definitely no blockages there! 😆
The bosch website HERE clearly shows the baffle i spoke about…your video (excellent one btw) clearly shows it missing 😆

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGV4313GB/17 Flooded base
IIRC the inlet valve has a baffle to prevent the flow rate being too high for the system. Leaking/overflowing from the point you illustrated can only be because the water is either not directed correctly through the chamber, or the outlet from the chamber and into the sump is restricted somehow, assuming the inlet valve has not been touched.
I’m not sure if all this series has a baffle in the chamber but if as you say there never was one fitted then there simply has to be a restriction. The red float may rise a little during filling but it shouldn’t rise far enough to operate the switch above it which is the anti-flood. 😉
