That shouldn’t cause a problem but it sounds like you may have need to look at the door switch or catch 😉

I’ve had one recently where the pcb was supplied without the programming sheet which wouldn’t program correctly. Once I had the sheet I coded it for the model and all was well.

Did you code it with the fascia on by any chance?….the buttons on the pcb S1, S2, S3 etc don’t tally with the buttons on the fascia 😉

    Hi Rob

    You’ll find them here http://cpc.farnell.com/

Not the cheapest but they do hold a good range….

IIRC there isn’t an alternative number, you’ll have to ask for the ‘modded’ part 😕

Re: diplomat washing machine apm 8552

Actually there is an alternative….it’s a mod that we’ve fitted to several with burst pipes. The modified part has a rigid plastic ‘y’ piece (rather that the moulded rubber original) and rubber hoses held on with metal spring clips.

We haven’t got any left unfortunately so MFI may be your only hope 😕

Thanks Seamy….unfortunately the technical stuff isn’t in there (error codes etc)…this one is in a rental and i think the agent won’t be happy when we quote for all 3 pcb’s 😯

Re: Help – Need to ‘Reboot’ my Diplomat Oven ADP3700 & C

Resetting the clock is just a matter of button pushes so if that doesn’t work then the clock is knackered. Prolly quite expensive, and no guarantee of ever getting one given the state of MFI (just read the news stories in the front page)

It is possible to bypass the clock but this may well contravene safety regulations (the appliance could be made to function by simply restoring a power supply) so we couldn’t possibly recommend it 😉

    Re: AEG Competence B4140-1 grill

The element is indeed attached with nuts from the back…locate and undo the screws that secure the oven to the housing and slide it onto a suitable bench (B & D workmate is ideal)…remove the back cover panel to gain access.
Power off at all times :zap:

The only response we have had has been from Mark Ridler after we emailed him, here’s his addy :-

    mark.ridler@mfi.co.uk

He seemed pretty desperate for us to continue supplying service on the same SLA so we said we would wait to see that the invoices outstanding after 1st Oct get paid and then make a decision as to where we go after that.

I have to say it’s highly unlikely we will provide any more service for them 😉

Indeed….been through that process and manage to get the start button to flash but the display remains in the program state and the other buttons have no effect 😕

It’s beginning to sound like the pcb?

    Re: Siemens WIQ1430EU/01

The problem appears to be the child lock is stuck on, having followed the user manual but it stubbornly refuses to unlock…the various button options acknowledge with a beep when pressed but the display is unaltered.

The problem appeared when the customer left the machine for several weeks whilst away and on return it refuses to behave.
