Generally, synchronous motors like that either work or they don’t so you have a mechanical problem there…

Hi Richard :waving:
Have a look at the lower spray arm, they split along the heat welded seam and squirt water under the door. Soldering iron can sort it but doesn’t look pretty, otherwise a new arm required…

Yes, i meant the old ‘type’ pump…cap run motor through a seal…
Hope it doesn’t work the same as the Askoll 😆

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS69A02 dishwasher bottom arm not spraying
Unlikely that’s its failing under load, there’s actually very little load on it as it’s a ‘hit and miss’ type valve.
IIRC there are position switches within the gearbox, it’s conceivable that if they are not working correctly then the pcb won’t power the valve. Either that or you’ve had a solid object (piece of glass?) get wedged on there and it’s chewed a few teeth off somewhere on the drive.

Another Askoll pump, not a very successful experiment by Whirlpool! The part number Dave gave is a conversion to the older (much more reliable) pump…looks very different but will sort the problem…

ParticipantRe: ignis akl429/wh/01 not cooking evenly (help)
One of two things….either the fan is slowing significantly, the bearings are obviously shot if it makes a screeching noise, or simply the design. May ovens over the years have had issues with uneven cooking, sometimes made worse by leaving spare baking sheets on the racks…

Therein is the answer to your question, they don’t have a coating on the inner glass that’s simply where it’s not actually clean 😉

No links, no instructions…they don’t exist.
They are a fiddle, best advice is get a helper to hold the board for you while you solder, and warn them there’s a chance of getting burned, or at the very least rig up some boxes underneath to support the board (the cables aren’t very long)
Do the wires one at a time noting their routing, try not to fray the ends as they set frayed with the solder and then won’t fit through the holes in the new board. There’s not a lot of cable to cut back to fresh either.
Be prepared for arm ache 😆
If the plug is accessible then unplug before doing anything, if not then trace the circuit it’s fitted too (often the room lighting circuit) and flip the trip…

The container with the “orange stuff” is the water softener and what you can see are the softener resin beads within it. That looks like a mains pressure infeed where the drip is hanging which is why it’s a reinforced hose.
I wonder if there’s a partial blockage within the softener which would cause full pressure to be applied at that connection…has the softener only ever had salt put in the reservoir and not accidentally had soap put in there? (I have seen it done before!)
In any case I would suggest getting a decent jubilee clip on there, make sure you get one for the correct diameter or it will go out of circular when done up if it’s too large.
When you have the hose off to replace the clip check that it’s a really tight fit on the spigot anyway, it shouldn’t have stretched because of the reinforcing but if it has, and you have enough length of hose then cut it back so “fresh” hose goes back on the spigot.
Plug out all all times…

ParticipantRe: Kenwood Dishwasher KDW243A problem
The usual thing for this is an earthing heater although if its had a load of water in the base then it may just need a thorough drying out. Unusually you can often get them to program and run if you select a program immediatelyafterturning it off then quickly turning back on before the display fades out altogether!
I did have one with an earth fault that would only work when the door was open 😯

ParticipantRe: Bosch Heat pump ohms reading diagram please?
Yes…thats the one…just this min attended one with a failed heat pump, or at least the heater has failed. Three thinner grey wires for the pump unit and two red for the heater…plus an earth of course.
There are two types of connector block but IIRC the earlier ones come with a wiring mod for the newer connector block…clivejameson
ParticipantRe: Hoover DYC 8938 T/D E08 error
Certainly sounds like an overheat (actual or measured), can’t imagine it being a dampness sensing problem (if it has a sensor), you’d expect it to pick that up earlier?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Heat pump ohms reading diagram please?
I haven’t got a link but they are much the same as any other wash pump…two windings with similar resistance (three differently coloured wires next to each other on the connector block). The heater part can be identified by the two wires with the same colour and give a typical heater reading ~20ohms
