Most likely culprits are an earthing element or the motor letting go…you need to check for insulation failure around the machine and give the drum a spin by hand to listen to the motor 😉

If it’s a static shock then the appliance is earthed ok (customer discharging themself on the cabinet). :lesson:

A recent study was published….the simple question was asked of a number of men ‘what do you like in women’s legs?’

    The results were…

17{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} said they prefer really fat legs, 14{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} said they like really skinny legs and 69{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} said they prefer something in between….

    😆

For those interested this book is well worth the read, full of interesting anecdotes and humour, and a thoroughly good read to boot!

Personally I don’t read a great deal but I just couldn’t put this one down.

‘U’s are the output side….live and neutral supply connect to ‘L’ and ‘N’ respectively.

As Chris says, don’t forget to make up an earth lead and connect to the terminal block/cabinet….

Occasionally a load just refuses to balance but more commonly if there is a very small load there just isn’t physically enough laundry to spread around the drum to balance it. Usually happens if the load is just a couple of woolly items or towels both of which become very heavy when wet but not large enough to spread around the drum surface 😉

Re: Zanussi DF 62/26 Ice Build Up in Fridge

Unfortunately this is the death nell of your fridge/freezer….however the small bit of good news is that it will not stop actually cooling because of this fault, however the ice-ball will get bigger more and more quickly.

The cause is the cooling pipes to the fridge are mounted too close to the fridge liner and eventually the steep temperature gradient from the pipes to the liner causes the insulation to fail at that point for which there is no effective cure 🙁

Don’t forget load size (too small = out of balance) 😉
