    Hi Dave
    thanks for reply..must have had wrong specs on found fan control hidden in wiring loom near selector switch so once found problem solved
    cooling fan working fine

    Yes micro switch tests out ok..closed circuit when in position
    unit was working fine prior to element and pump change.. Just no heat and noisy drain pump
    only thing is machine was put on side. To remove base plate to access bottom
    seems strange fault has occurred

    Is it a rcd trip or circuit breaker that trips

    likely fault is heating element expanding at high temperature and shorting to earth
    megger test element for leakage test..or change element

    sorry Dave only just got back from holiday

    unit will fill

    but evacuate water as if Flood sensor as been activated

    ther is no w
    leak or water in base of the machine

    Without returning and stripping down again
    I failed to note resistance
    Assuming the element is ok
    What else might be the problem

    Have checked micros and pressure unit all appear to be ok

    thanks..no fill at all, drain pump runs it time period and machine sit awaiting it looks like i will have to remove for further investigation, get you point about fixing screws
    will remove and test inlet valve

    have you checked if supply to clock is maintained when oven is on

    oven circuit controlled via clock relay circuit

    sounds like circuit supply to clock problem,
