ParticipantRe: seized/broken isolation valves
Had one recently when a d***head of a customer had insisted he hadn’t touched the machine at all (although it looked as though it had been pulled out to me), nope he hadn’t touched anything.
Pulled the Zanussi w/d out, turned the tap off slowly undid the hose at the washer end and…..mains pressure blew the last bit of thread and I got drenched while his mother tried to find a bucket. Yep, he’d turned the taps off, so I turned it back on. 👿

Need another of these pumps. No stock anywhere and Connect have given the cheaper one a £27 price rise 👿 . Looking round there is nothing available quickly and at the standard retail of around £228 😯 who the bl***y hell would want one after only 14 months of working for just a couple.

Had a similar fault and a wire to the motor plug had broken inside the insulation. Would do a slow 500rpm ish spin then wouldn’t ramp up any further.

Dropped Tomsons around five years ago…no difference.
Dropped the Phone book two years ago…..slight difference.
Monitor most of the phone calls coming in and about 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my calls are still YP so in currnt climate don’t want to rock the boat just yet. Agree with losing the reps though, same s**t year after year and I always cancel their ideas and do my own online in the end.TC

Simples!!!
Tinternet. The number of people that proudly inform me nowadays that it’ll be the pressure switch (regardless of the fault :rolls: ) still amazes me. Most still won’t touch it though. 😉

ParticipantRe: MFI RE BIRTH !!!
Bought the name for £250,000. I bet they get more than £250,000 in hassle from disgruntled ex customers and tradesmen regardless of how they protest their innocence. Is it worth it? :rolls:

Pretty sure I’ve seen on a thread that Masterpart do some spares for Brittania. Might be worth calling them.
