Cheers, I wondered about this I’d seen it before , that’s why I mentioned the water levels. Would that cause the other symptoms though?

Tested the valve coil and it’s ok. Customer just complained of clothes coming out cold unfortunately. Had it running for around ten minutes without the valve being energized after I’d reset the stat.

Had 30 Servis PCB’s, whittled them down to one of each (7) last Saturday, but very much doubt I’ll use them. Chucked out Smeg d/w boards, Smeg softeners and dosing tanks but had to puncture them to make sure I didn’t go back later and put them back 🙂

Many thanks, not wired as I remember them. He called me this morning to thank me for coming and to see if it would be worth fixing as his mate has one for sale 👿

It was to install afreestanding machine. TBH pulled the machine out before all this was noticed. He did say that he’d had trouble when last one they had delivered and had to finish it off themselves. 😉

Re: BIG WARRANTY AND GO ASSIST

Had this lot mentioned by a customer today.Bosch f/s dishwasher being replaced after she decided to cut her losses. She’d paid them over £150 for the dishwasher tripping elecs on dry. First part fitted by engineer didn’t cure it and quoted another £160 to swap the pcb :conf: . I pulled the dw out to find the worst case of crappy stainless to plastic seal I’ve yet seen on the back. Water stains leaking into base and around plug. Write off on 1st call to me.
The engineer in question had apparently travelled 20 odd miles from Leyland to Blackpool for the call so why book parts when the faults were so blindingly obvious.
She’s also still fighting to get money back for the big guarantee.

No power to aquastop this time, same symptoms but aquastop ok. Worked fine for three weeks but try explaining that one. Is the pcb still available…may try using a standard hose to see if it causes any more problems if it isn’t. Anyone tried that…does it work?

Remind me not to listen to customers version of what happened. Was indeed the heater. Just their version of events which tripped me up

    Re: Tecnik wxliti01gb/18fill hose

Got same fault on this machine. Aqua stop failed and machine wanting water. The aqua stop was buzzing all through the wash so I’m presuming a triac on the pcb is at fault. I’m guessing that the machine will operate as normal with a standard fill hose and that the aqua stop is just z safety device? Is that right?

Re: Bosch WVD2452SGB/01 not finishing programme.

They’ve watched it go down to 1 then next time looking was 1 hour 15. Apparently they noticed washes were taking longer and decided to watch it. They argued the heater point with me when I told them about the added time if it fails, saying that the clothes were coming out fine and they have seen it do the 1 minute to start. Thought I’d check if anyone had had this before I hauled this beast out of its wedges.

Regardless of whether it will cure the fault….would you use a dishwasher that had had caustic in it……beggars belief some of the plebs out there.
