Thanks for your input, called out friday and turned out that it was the compressor at fault and are getting a new fridge due to the age.

    Hi Mike

Managed to do one of these a couple of weeks ago after spending a couple of hours and two badly cut fingers due to the sharp edges I had to give up and return a week later to complete the job, after opening up the crimp I was able to slide the new seal in place but must admit after crimping along the edge with a pair of pliers the bottom of the door didn’t look very nice but the customer accepted it. I must have spent 3 hours on this job in total and would never do another.
I see on Connect that a new inner door is listed but don’t know and doubt that the seal is already fitted.

    Good Luck

    Just found this
    Dynamic fill time
T.D. = T.S. x 3: This is the maximum time allowed for the entire fill phase within which the pressure switch
    signal must stabilize on FULL.
    • If the pressure switch signal does not stabilize on FULL within this period (T.S. x 3), the electronic
control system switches off the fill solenoid (and the heating element, if switched on), and then allows
the washing cycle to proceed until it is completed. In this situation, the alarm condition [F 0] is not
displayed to the user, but may be accessed by the Service Engineer using a specific procedure.

PM you email if you need the manual for this

Have you checked that the start button is actually pushing the switch on the board ?

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

I was given a Hotpoint condenser drier a couple of years ago and after testing I gave it to a customer of mine that runs a large letting agency. I went into see him yesterday and he complained that it had worked ok for a couple of months but lost its efficiency so stopped using it. His partner decided to give it a try the other day and he said that she had now removed the fabric packaging from inside the door that I had failed to remove and now works OK but fluff and dust keeps building up in there ?? Can’t give them away without complaint
