    Have you checked the air chamber as this will cause over filling & leaking. Also check that the salt container lock nut hasn’t become loose.

    Check dryer heaters – had one of these doing the same – board had been changed by another engineer and it turned out to be insulation fault on heaters

    Looking at diagram & parts listing – As you say No diode shown
    The only part I can see is Thermo-Regulator 16A pt No. 50252853002

    I have done 3 of these stats over the past couple of years. One worked for one wash and the customer replaced the machine and the other two have worked OK since repair. I think it is just a case of replace and test.

    You say that you are testing terminals to earth – Looking at wiring diagram the oven temperature neon is fed direct to neutrel and not through the TOC, if the toc was open circuit or the feed to it is faulty you would not get a neutrel feed to components although the temp light would come on and if you test components to earth this confirms live feed but not neutrel

    Sounds like airflow – check filters, I had a job a few months ago where the heater was cutting out after about 5 mins and it was caused by the filter inside the door it looked ok but it was blocked with powder – washed it under the tap and as far as I know has worked OK since

    Don’t think a manual reset on this one. Reasons listed are

    Wiring faulty. NTC sensor incorrectly calibrated/out of position. Power relay to heater unit faulty Heater unit faulty.

    Electronic board faulty

    Intervention of auto-reset thermostat on the heater unit.Thermostat faulty (replace heater unit). Heater unit faulty.
