Can be either Dave, what I would do is take the decor panel off and check the hinges are ok and you have no gaps. Then get the customer to run it for a few days without the decor panel on and see what results you get. If it runs OK then get her to contact the kitchen fitters.

And finally check the thermistor in the fridge baffle area, these are generally very reliable but they do control the fan together with the freezer area sensor.

    Re: Chest Freezer Power Consumption

Perhaps you should take this view. If its a large chest freezer let us say its has a motor with 125w consumption. Now say it only runs for 10 hours a day – thats 1.25Kw per day or about 11p a day x 30 days thats about £3.30 a month. Next variable is are you saving money by buying in bulk or are you just hoarding frozen stuff. If you are buying in bulk can you save the three quid to cover the cost of the storage? If you are hoarding and like most people will chuck lots away why not buy a smaller chest freezer.

It is either pushed into a groove that runs around the edge of the door itself or it is non replaceable. If you try and pull it along one of the edges it should pop out of the groove, if you cant seem to move it without damaging the door then it is sealed and cannot be replaced.

Usually only if the base is full of water or too much detergent has been used causing foaming which has then migrated into the base.

Can you see the chiller plate in the inside back of the fridge or is it concealed behind the plastic liner?

    Re: AMP6852

It is listed as a part, with a part number of 406017300 but I would carefully look at your original seal and see if you can get it off first. The manufacturer is extremely good at supplying items that on further inspection you find are not replaceable.
