At a brief guess I would suggest that you have a thermostat problem but can you post the PNC number and I can look at it more closely. PNC number is located on a label perhaps in the oven door jam.

Just to make life interesting there are three different boards listed for this machine. Can you let me have the serial number for the appliance which is on a label in the drain filter flap

Have you checked to see if there are two 7mm headed long screws that hold the top to the front, these are in addition to the two Torx screws in the top. Remove them and the top slides off.

Re: Schrieber APM 6855 Integrated Frost Free Fridge Freezer

Antonio Merloni built fully electronically controlled fridge freezer. No cooling in fridge but vents that are ducted from the freezer evaporator. Has two thermistors in the freezer one that controls the defrost and one controlling the freezer temp. If I remember rightly the fridge temp is controlled by a flap in this area. Usual faults are associated with the freezer evaporator totally blocking with ice and restricting the airflow up the ducts to the fridge. Hope that helps.

Yes – power off first of course and if its frozen up its a good time to defrost again. Be careful removing the coloured plugs from there socket as they have a habit of falling to bits.

There are three with this model, plugs are colour coded, yellow, green and white. Yellow and green are in the freezer compartment and white is in fridge area. Change the yellow and green available from shop@ in the sidebar.

Look on the bright side you get the evaporator, heater, thermal fuse and sensor with this part. Gives you a thermal fuse and sensor for van stock.

Re: Servis AM7443B I think crack crack crack noise.

This is a fairly common noise associated with the use of new non CFC refrigerants. It is caused by two things, one is that the temperature at which the refrigerant operates is cooler than previous refrigerants and the second is that the refrigerant is much thinner than previously used. Put these together and you get squeeking, creaking and banging, as the pipework expands and contracts within its surrounding insulation. Not much you can do and it is not restricted to Servis appliances.
