I agree with Chris – I think we need to keep WTA & UKW seperate whilst associated.

Power off – remove wooden plinth (kick strip) from fitted kitchen directly in front of dishwasher. You will now see a black plastic inspection cover. Remove this and then place an old towel through the opening and mop up without touching any of the wiring. When it is dried out thoroughly leave to allow the air to circulate underneath and then retest tomorrow. Please be aware that these are prone to leakage and if the same occurs shortly you will need an engineer out to repair the leak.

If you can use a multimeter check for a resistance across the heater connectors, if you cant use a multimeter then you need a fridge engineer, try repairs@

Re: servis m7055 6w ff fridge freezer

I would suggest that you have a fault with the defrost heater that is attached to the front of the fins, either that or the supply to it. Part number for the defrost heater is 524010100 available from the shop@.
    Hope that helps

If you take the kick strip off at the bottom you will see where the water dispenser water pipe is connected and flows up inside the door. Seperate this pipe at the connector and place an old towel at this joint. Then slowly press the water dispenser lever. If water comes out at the towel then everything is ok up to this point, if however there is no gush of water, then you have a problem with the water dispenser lever behind the display panel. There is no solenoid behind the lever only a microswitch.

Could be the capacitor, a cheap repair or alternatively the motor rather more expensive

The fridge defrost heater comes as a complete evaporator and heater assy. You have to fiddle the heater off and refit to old unit. Part number is DA96-00013B Evaporator refrigerator assy.
