Could you double check that number please Pat, I can’t find it listed.
If there’s a bar code on the label, could I have the two long numbers above and below it.
Thanks.
Dave.

Same as Penguin 🙂
It is a health and safety issue, not just for the rubber soles but your toes as well should you drop an appliance on your foot :eeek:

There’s two PCB’s on this model, one is circa £80 the other around the £130 mark 😯

Electronic controlled this one.
Not an easy one to diagnose Kris really, best bet is a Penguin says, call an engineer to check for you.
Have a look at repairs@ and the directories for one near you 😀

ParticipantRe: Ariston margherita 2000 AWD12…
The 20p may well have caused the problem Mark, now the machine control pcb may need resetting.
Do a search for Indesits and Aristons and resetting in the forums, try that and let us know how you get on 😀

ParticipantRe: AL3 Alarm code on AEG Favorit 64800
No easy way without a test meter really, if you’re going to call an engineer anyway, let him diagnose the problem for you, that’s what you will be paying him/her for after all 😀

ParticipantRe: SMEG DWI 612
Apart from checking the usual Bobby, as the appliance is only 8 months old, you will need to call the service agents out to sort this one for you.
Have a look in the user manual for the troubleshooting guide which should be in there.
It will refer to fill and drain hoses and the filter mainly.
If these are all OK then there’s little else you can do yourself really.
Smeg service (Servevast) are here http://www.smeg-service.co.uk if you need to contact them.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantRe: Lavamat 62300 not heating
More likely is a heat sensor or thermostat Kristoffer.
Can you check around the door for the Product code (PNC) please, it should begin with 9??????

ParticipantRe: SMEG Part Numbers for Spares?
Hi John.
Sadly most of the UK manufacturers don’t have this facility, even we struggle at times to identify some parts.
To answer your specifics though:
Smeg FAB28 evaporator door – this has now been an updated part and you can only purchase the whole door and the part that it latches on to screwd to the side of the fridge:
Evap door – 696133684 – £48.39 ex VAT
Latch (may not be required) – 763850173 £14.40 ex VATSmeg DWF44.SS.1 door handle cover – this is virtually impossible to identify which one is which, hence the reason you have ended up ordering both I would imagine:
One is 762171541 – £2.35 ex VAT and the other 063251590 – £ £2.35 ex VAT. So with postage and VAT added, probably about right what you have ordered.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi combi microwave ZMB32CT-X
Oddly enough, even though the service manual is on TDS there is no reference at all to fault codes.
It’s more like a generic manual for lots of models 🙁
One of the Service Force guys may have more info than I have hopefully 🙂

ParticipantRe: postcodes
You know I meant to post about this a while back as this is the third time i’ve been asked the same question.
It never occured to me to be honest as when you do contract work you have to know, if you’re covering your local area for chargeable customers you have no real need to know.
I can create one for you Simon using MS Mappoint, let me know your own postcode and roughly how far out you go and I’ll email it to you in PDF format.
If anyone else wants one done, just let me know and I’ll be happy to do them 😀
Dave.
