It won’t fit, it’s a completely different door handle arrangement so it will be smaller. The only alternative I can come up with is the brown door glass for the equivelent brown model.

You may want to consider replacing both door glasses as an alternative, they would cost £65.38 inc Vat for the pair and about £10 in postage.

Please don’t be tempted to just order a 60cm Cannon white glass, as anyone dealing with that order will most likely not accept it back if it doesn’t fit.

Guess what Martin, it’s the same one as Cleat was after. Without seeing it I don’t know which alternative would fit, Connect show no alternative, neither do Washvac.

The same offfer applied, if you want the gen one ordered, let me know.

It should come out with a good wallop, make sure whatever you are using has a good edge on it to make good contact with the outer bearing shell.

It’s unlikely to be the heater to be honest, they don’t have a high failure rate, but they do fail on occasion.

I would call an engineer if I were you otherwise you may be stabbing in the dark a bit and buying expensive parts which won’t resolve the problem..

Have a look in the directories section for an engineer in your area or pop your postcode here.

It’s a Brandt made appliance for Comet by the looks of it.

    No picture though 🙁

Where is the door flap position AMS ? I found a similar model and it appears to be top right.

No, I even invited them to actively take part in discussion here some months back regarding the new legislation for new trainees and ACS, they declined the offer and wouldn’t even allow me to reproduce parts of the article in the Installer magazine which may have helped clarify matters.

If you can let me know the model number of the cooker, there may be a similar style or colour that will physically fit.

It’s a Brandt made oven. Element part number 76X3719, about £20 trade from Brandt or MFI.

Ifd you haven’t a contact for either of those, I can order for you if required.

    Re: awm8123-6k

Fault code F06 is definitely to do with the tacho, from Whirlpool tech:

F06 Tachometer failure (no motor movement detected).

It’s got to be a poor connection making/breaking I would think, change the tacho and see what happens ?

Could you double check the model number please. There is no APL1690, there is however an APL1890 6 burner hob, but I’d rather be sure than give you incorrect information.

Anonymous wrote:I am also looking for a round rubber replacement button for my neff hob….did you have any luck finding one?

If you have a Neff it should be far easier to source than an Atag. We will need the full model number of the hob please though. It will be on the underside of the hob or in the user manual.

Neff , Bosch and Siemens (basically all the same product) parts are easy enough to get hold of on the whole .
