    Re: whirlpool

    Hiya,
The date code is in the serial number.
11 is the factory, next two are the year, next two the week number.
From 110330 the electronics changed, so machines with that number and earlier require both boards (unless they’ve already been changed previously for newer boards).

    Hope this helps.

    ser. no. 11 0345 015044.
    11 is the factory.
    03 is the year
    45 is the week.

Your machine is newer than the change of 03 30 so you should only need 1 board.
Sorry, I’m not on the system with SIOS on it, rear pcb should be item 5210 or thereabouts on the parts list. Shows on the diagram as above the freezer cabinet.

    Hi Martin,
Thanks very much. I’m forever in your debt. (Mind you in this credit crunch you’re not likely to get anything out of me 😛 )

    Many thanks.

    Hiya,
Laughing my head off here. I forgot to put it in the original message. It’s only sitting on my notepad in front of my keyboard. 😳

    Sorry it’s TFG260EDAWH

    Thanks

    Hiya,
To work out the wiring I’d need the old Strix model number and the new regulator make and model number.

If it’s a Diamond H you fitted the most common mistake is the neutrals have been fitted to terminal 4 instead of 4A, this would allow power to the element without regulation.
The link wire from P1 to 4 (or S1 depending on the model) is required for the pilot light.

Re: Whirlpool American F’F display problem

    Hiyas,
If the serial number begins 110330 or lower then both boards have to be replaced.
After this date code the machine is fitted with the later electronics and individual boards can be replaced.
Any early appliance that has previously had the boards replaced are, of course, treated the same as the newer appliances.

    Hiya,
Goodness me, forgot all about this one.
Replaced the gearbox and it was fine.

    Hiya,
in the search box put Hotpoint AND wf740
then click on search. The AND must be in capitals.

If you just put wf it comes up with nothing.

Re: Belling Farmhouse 910 grill regulator

    Hiya,
Don’t know if you’ve sorted this yet.
You’ve not given the model of the Diamond H regulator but I reckon it has to be in the 41ER range.
The wiring diagram for the 910 shows the cooling fan and neon connected to S2 on the original regulator. If the link wire on the new one is missing the neon and fan will not run.

P1 on original to P1 on new.
4 on original to 4a on new.
2 on original to 2 on new.
S2 on original to S2 on new.
Link wire from P1 to 4 on new.

    Hiya,
In the Diamond H sticky you’ll find the regulator charts, helps a lot changing from one type to another.

Re: Whirlpool Oven AKZ 104IX STOP

    Hiya,
Turn the controls to the “Off” position. Press the button until the underscore ( _ ) is on the far right of the display. Use the rotary controls to set the time, press the button to set.

(Done from an ageing memory so hopefully right).
