Press and hold the start button for 10 seconds (ish) and it’ll reset. However, this isn’t a cure. If it’s back to a single flash, you have a problem with the NTC.

Sounds like a problem with both the main pcb and the user pcb. However, these boards are not cheap. Best get someone in to confirm before paying out for the boards.

As an engineer who used to work for a Whirpool service partner I can confirm what kheath posted. Yes, the service partner I worked for had to pass some work to expert when the refrigeration engineer left, but these were only jobs which involved the gas system.
The problem in your freezer is most certainly to do with the defrost system in the freezer section. For whatever reason the drain has become blocked and during the defrost cycle the water cannot now drain into the tray underneath and is leaking out into the freezer cavity. You really need an engineer to check it all out and to clear the blockage. It may well be you have a problem with the defrost heater which has caused the blockage.
My advice is to “play safe”, you have a very expensive machine and if Whirlpool won’t give you a courtesy call, it’s well worth paying the engineers fee to cure the problem.DP

Hiya,
An NTC is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor.
The fault code on your machine indicates that there is a problem in this area of your machine. Fault codes are only a likely indication of the problem and I’d recommend an engineer check out the machine as you could end up throwing parts at it trying to cure the fault.
Hope this is of some help.

Hiya,
F1 is an NTC problem.

If it’s adjustable, try tightening the belt. If not, try a new belt. All sorts of strange behaviour from these machines if belt is stretched. (Cheaper than a module and worth a try).

On the tin fan ones I’ve worked on it’s a left hand thread. However, the parts diagram for this model isn’t too clear as to how it’s held on.
As to the plastic ones, take the bolt out, use an old screwdriver or wood chisel and slightly crack the fan where the keyway is, it should then just pull off.

Check that the top spray arm feed pipe hasn’t come out of it’s housing.
It should plug in at the rear of the filter in the bottom of the cavity.

Hiya,
7 flashes equates to error code F7. Flow meter failure. Flow meter defect. Water inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked.DP

Turn the power off and remove the plinth, see if the base is full of water.

Sorry, I think it’s engineer time, it looks like an F1 error which is the NTC.
However, the error codes are only a guide and the fault may lie elsewhere. Probably cheaper in the long run to have it checked out by an engineer rather than throwing parts at it.

Hiya, that’s the serial number. There should be another 12 digit number before it and it’ll be either 854560015810 or 854560015860. However, the serial number indicates a Whirlpool machine. When it starts beeping, open the door and look at the light by the start button, this should be flashing, count the flashes between pauses. The number of flashes will translate to an error code. Once we have this we can give you an indication of the likely fault.

Hiya,
This one appears to be a Whirlpool in disguise. There are two models using the model number you gave, the 12 digit model number helps identify the exact model and you can find this on the right hand side of the door when you open it.
If you count the flashes between the pauses on the start button light, post the result here and someone will let you know what the error is.
If it appears to flash continuously with no pause then this is F1 fault and indicates an NTC problem.
Hope this helps.

Hiya, As far as I remember this appliance has thermostats fitted. Could be a faulty fridge stat causing the problem.

Hiya, This is the reasons given for F7.
Flow meter failure. Flow meter defect. Water inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked
Hope it’s of some help to you.
Remember to unplug before working on the appliance.DP
