Sorry, I can’t find a machine listed with that model number.
Anyone else able to find it?

ParticipantRe: whirlpool ADP136 dishwasher
Hiya,
Can you post the 12 digit model number please? You’ll find it on the side of the door or on the plinth. Once we have that number we should be able to look up your specific machine.
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Bauknecht GSX4756 Beeping Dishwasher
Hiya,
The error codes are only a guide and I think yours could be a single flash, which would indicate a problem with the NTC.
Best bet is to have it looked at as parts can be quite expensive.
Chuck your post code up and someone will point you in the right direction.DP

Hiya,
We’ll need a little more information from you to assist.
When it’s beeping the start light should be flashing, count the number of flashes between pauses and post that here. If you also post the 12 digit model number that you find on the side of the door when it’s opened, that will enable us to look at your specific model.DP

Check the carbons in the motor first. If they are ok, most likely the module has blown. Have had these in the past where a faulty motor has blown the module, so could be a case of motor and module.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool won’t run
First thing to check is the door interlock. When you switch it on does the door lock? If not, your problem lies there. If it does, do you hear a buzzing sound from the inlet valves?

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool ADP5966 Fault Code F7
Hiya, F7 indicates a flow meter failure. Basically, the meter “counts” the water coming in, it is compared with the amount registered with the pressure switch, if both agree it continues normally, if there is a “disagreement” it aborts and brings up an alarm.
It is possibly a faulty pressure switch, faulty flow meter, bad connection or if you’re really unlucky, it’s bringing up a false alarm code, i.e. you have a fault but not the one being indicated.
Before you remove any panels to check, please pull the plug.DP

New dishwasher? Did it replace another one? If not, check the spigot under the sink. Make sure it’s not still blanked off.

Hmmmmm, Would I get more sympathy or be laughed at if I put down….
I have to support my ex wife, my 5 children, my 2nd wife and my 4 step children? LOL
The above is true by the way, except for supporting my ex wife, she already got all I had. 😛DP

Sorry Martin, it’s not a wind up. I can assure you that I wasn’t “poached” or approached, I sent my CV out to several companies some time ago and only Comet and BG responded.
If my present employer could afford to pay me a decent living wage then there is no way I’d be looking to change jobs. I’m actually very happy working for them, sad fact is, I can’t afford to work for them any more.

On the subject of British Gas. Does anyone know what they are like to work for? Only asking because I’ve an interview with them next Monday.

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8501 Dishwasher
Hiya,
F8 indicates a water level problem. Other causes can be a blocked filter, drain hose too far into a stand pipe or water being syphoned out.
Hope this helps.DP

ParticipantRe: diplomat 8322 dishwasher
4 flashes indicates a draining problem.
Check all the usual stuff, blocked filters, blocked drain under the sink and also check for a flooded base in the dishwasher.
Please remember to turn the power off before doing anything.DP

ParticipantRe: F4 on adp5966 whirlpool dishwasher
Generally, if there is no flashing light (error code) and it doesn’t default to rinse then the module is at fault. This is because the module can check everything else (that’s the theory anyway) except itself. Therefore no error code = faulty module.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool ADP970 start light flashing
Constant flashing is probably a single flash which indicates NTC fault.
