Where’s the scrolling XML gone from the homepage?

    Has it been permanently removed?

    Hi Spanish Bill

Moved you to the cooking support forum rather than the European one as the hob in question is a UK model 😉

Re: Tabletop freezer in a porch

    Hi Dames

If the porch gets hot by the sun and / or the tumble dryer is running the poor old freezer is going to have to work really hard to maintain a safe temperature. This in turn will reduce the lifespan of the product whether it`s a Proline or any other brand. I personally would not consider a freezer in that location if it were me but if needs must then you have to go with it.

User helo_75 if he sees this thread may be able to advise on the Proline product 😉

Re: Tall freezer – considering Hotpoint FZS175P

    Hi

Hotpoint refrigeration is middle of the road when it comes to quality and reliability of product. Frost free V non frost free? No defrost, longer storage times, products like bread stay seperated to a degree rather than sticking together, more expensive to run, less reliable (more tech inside than a non frost free ) and don`t leave the door open for a sustained period of time as you will end up with Ice Station Zebra which will need a 48 hour defrost.

So armed with all of the above the current deal at JL is a good deal for that model, I would extend the guarantee though 😉 If you can afford to increase the budget then take at a look at the Bosch equivalent.

One week later and the test it`s the same old story :rolls: At least Trott 104 and Broad 61 not out are taking the score to some respectability

The bowlers might have a total to bowl at after all.

If you right click on the letter icon and then select “open link in new window” you then get just your post displayed rather than the whole page view. You can then copy and paste that url into your next post in the usual way.
