    Hi

Where did you order the new selector switch from?

Checked for your model number in our shop and the correct one is this one.

Re: Replacement oven door for Bosch double oven

    Hi

Can you post up the ENR and FD number please so we can identify your machine. Is it the inner our outer door and is it the top or bottom oven???

It could be that the inherited machine glass was not “smoked” when new.

Have moved thread to oven and cooker forum.

    Budget is £450.

I can’t comment on the repair side TBH.

All Bosch series 2 dishwashers have the Polyinox base everything from series 4 and up will have a full stainless steel tank.

    Hi Evren

Nice to hear from you. Wishing a Happy New Year to you and your family in Finland 🙂

Congratulations on your new purchase, while the models differ in your country to the UK there may well be some crossover information common to both.

Look forward to the updates on your blog in due course.

That was due to a major supplier (no longer trading) who commissioned exclusive models which could be sold much cheaper than the genuine model variants which caused the few problems.

I am impressed with the Beko we have just purchased it also has the flame retardent back so it’s safe as can possibly be.

It has to be Beko everytime from that list. Reasonable build at a reasonable price and reasonably priced spares later down the line.

aguacaliente wrote:Baumatic BO788SS, (Gas) only bought it 6 weeks ago and just fitted it (secondhand) is the top oven only meant to stay alight with the door open as using as a grill,

According to Google the top cavity is grill only no oven mode. Have had a quick look for instructions which I am unable to find. If there is a little plunger switch along the top edge of the grill compartment then yes it is open door grilling. Shutting the grill door when in use will confirm this if the flame goes out.

Sadly forum rules do not allow us to advise on DIY gas repairs info here you could try our find an engineer search here for local one to you.

    Hi

Just a thought, your machine is a sensor dryer for it to work it needs to be in a room above 15 degrees C. If it’s in an out house, shed or garage it probably won’t function correctly.

Have you tried it on the timed option?

    Found it 🙂

I reckon Bosch spares site had a wobbler earlier or I mis- keyed something.

    Anyway,

    Main oven hinge is 00491777

    Hinge receivers if needed 00172647

    Both in stock at Connect.

    Hi

According to Google the SM1901-001 is an upright cleaner not a cylinder. Can you recheck the model number please?

Edit: One our suppliers states for that model it’s a 32mm tool set required.

    Confused? I certainly am 😉

    Hi

Your’e model does not compute 😆

After the HB there is usually another letter probably M or N

The 90567 is usually only only four digits and those you quote don’t look like anything right for a Bosch.

The FD number would also help 😉

SSH wrote: I can always return the new unit to amazon if it doesn’t solve the problem.

I would carefully read Amazon’s return policy as attached 😉

The module will come in a Bosch sealed bag usually of a yellow tinge this in turn will come in a security sealed brown box. Like all spares suppliers they cannot risk sending a potential faulty spare part which has been returned by a previous customer. Not only that but in fitting it you could have corrupted the board rendering it useless.

So you need to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it is the part you need.

    Hi

    80cm island ceramic hob.

You say it was a display model, I have known items like ovens and hobs on display to have had the elements or boards disconnected so they don’t physically heat up.

An engineer would be able to open it up to see if this is the case or the hob itself may be faulty.

    HTH 🙂
