Re: NEFF double oven with more than one "symptom" of ill hea

Another option would have been to call Neff and take advantage of their extended warranty payment of about £180 they would have repaired your oven and given a one year guarantee as well.

    Hi Dave

Good to know you are out and the surgery by the sound of it has been successful.

Hope the chemo does the trick and you are soon up and running again.

    Hi

This tumble dryer is part of the Whirlpool/ Hotpoint modification programme. Has yours been modified? If not it shouldn’t be used.

    .

As already said side panel does not come off, as already said access is from the front. It’s usually remove soap dispenser, and two screws from fascia ( if they are fitted), open main door and remove any fixing bolts sometimes it’s three or just one at the bottom and then release clip from under right left front panel in order for it to swing to the left.

I’m certainly not impressed by the ‘design for repair’ or the build quality of what was a VERY expensive machine, at this point.

Miele machines are the best build on the planet and a view shared by all in the trade.

Does anyone know how long the warrenty is on one of these units?

Usually they come with a two year warranty unless it was purchased with a promotional warranty of either five or ten years. Miele will be able to check by your machines serial number if this was the case.

I would use both. I would hate for the dryer to fall towards the user if unloading sheets or towels.

    “Hi

The washing machine will taken the weight but I would stand the dryer on a piece of thick carpet so it has less chance to move. You will also need to find someway of securing the two appliances together.

There are universal stack kits available but you may have to “adapt” it to fit the two different shapes of cabinet.

    Hi Paul

It’s on the Whirlpool parts explosion but no longer listed as available as a spare part. I have managed to find the part number on Connect which by the looks of it is C00314705 which is out of stock, it does not state whether it is programmed or not.

Google search does not reveal anything of any note either.
