IME any water related earth leakage can blank the lights and all functions, often to re-appear once all dried out.

the duff display can only mean one thing. PCB. Check if its visibly blown and trace back to find cause, often only the heater wires burning off.

31X9538 is the gen number but they are OOS of that as well but at only £14 (if you order the fagor version) its well worth the wait. Never had the need to change one myself though…

just to confuse the issue, its now superceeded by 497570 and is definatly not the same as 263186 as 263186 doesnt have the insert required for this model with the large fill tank in the side.

Mike is correct, the flow meter for this model is 1729900100, not saying that is what is needed though. I did repair a few of these in MFI days but only ever had blocked pumps and a couple of heater failures.

the bosch ones have been around for a couple of years like that, must admit frightened the life out of me the first time I came across it as I assumed it was on fire.
Miele have a different take, the neon on top of the door is reflected through a plastic lens/ prism affair which fits into the damp proof barrier under the worktop and gives a warm glow between the top of the door and the worktop.
Still think Smegs old retractable door was the best though as it not only exposed a second normally hidden time remaining (or, more likely error code 😆 ) display it also locked the door against small folk opening it mid cycle.

dont know for sure but woth connecting a valve coil up just to prove it. The pulsating is a classic dispenser coil symptom.
