Problem is, just a carbon brush change with an acceptable, but not great, profit margin on the part is now approaching £90. Customers who used to own Hotpoints and the like are assuming we are ripping them off and making huge profits on the parts.

Re: Credit Card rules PCI DSS

Finally got a response about this and it does seem to be another way of extracting our hard earned but it is a compulsory standard that everyone who takes card payments must conform too regardless whether they are on line or face to face with a card holding customer. Whats more, once conformed you will need to renew every year!
Yes, I think you can fill out the self assesment form yourself free of charge (I think), But its a daunting form of some 44 pages!
The cheap option is to enlist someone to help you, in my case, using Barclays Merchant Services as my card merchant account provider, it is a USA based corporation named Security Metrics. I have had to pay them £11.99 for the privilidge of letting me fill out a simple 14 question form on line and they will handle the rest.
I guess other merchant accounts will use other companies as they are not allowed to assist themselves. Security metrics phone number is:
    0844 561 1662 and web: http://www.securitymetrics.com

Best advice is to contact your merchant account provider for more details but do not ignore this, you will have to comply.

we had an enquiry from Beaconsfield, way out of my area but the customer says he never trusts any business that only has a mobile number hence he didnt want to use anyone more local to him for that very reason.

do you really mean all lights are on?
Should fill and empty a few times before main fill and wash. if all lights are on then assume pcb failure.

usually down to the ribbon cable, where it plugs on to the interlock, often burns its connection. Also wont feed the door release if the pressure switch is stuck.

try 8996454255770 but dont accept the alternatives listed on connect as they will revert back to the shorter ones. Beware though these are priced in singles.
