Whats more, if you do hit the print button, the default is for 2 copies, one to send with cheque (if paying by that method) hence now 2 pieces of paper when there was only one when they printed them for us. Lets face it, its just a money saving ploy dressed up as a green issue.

sorry to confuse, I was thinking it was the stat on its own rather than the one clipped into the comm switch. the “square” is the metal plate to which the seperate type stat mounts on to.

not sure there is a test proceedure, without using the pc interface that is, but if you post a faultcode here I am sure one of us will tell you what it means.

Have to be careful on some of these as the off position sometimes is 45 degrees out, you may also need to change the “square” it mounts on. If its a MFX5 version you should be alright though as its a later one than the one with the problems.

that model does not use the old troublesome matrix/fill container so it wont be the problem. assuming the pressure switch is ok (it always is) then it will be the pcb. Its a common problem in that it ignores the pressure switch signal and overfills. Its a job to realise this as the noise of the circulation pump prevents you from hearing the water still coming in but I should imagine thats your problem.

bound to be the front swtich part number W0000051. probably just blew a bulb and, no doubt, the wrong fuse would have been in the plug as usual causing a blown track. need soldering iron to change this part.

having said all that, never had one fail. If the motor is siezed it is usually only due to fluff build up on and around the fan.
